…and could even be more severe than a relatively short timeout. [*Hmm really?]
Imagine a selfish football player quitting halfway through a match. [*Okay.]
Imagine a carefree surgeon quitting halfway through an operation. [*A bit extreme, surely.]
Imagine a lazy beehive quitting halfway through making a pot of honey. [*RED FLAG!]
These people would be put in jail! [*Chuckle.]
[*Edits added for people struggling with sarcasm/humour.]

20 AntwortenComp penalties for a Social/ Casual Playlist shouldn't exist. End of story
-
lifetime sentence to jail for quitting a game

4 AntwortenI don’t think equating a casual game mode to actual real life will do you favours. The penalty is pretty steep. I for one didn’t really care. I don’t back out unless I feel like the match is far too leggy or it’s a stack that are just out to stomp. But I have noticed match quality is so much better now
-
oh boy here we go
-
2 AntwortenI’m so down for the penalties. Since the matchmaking is So GrEaT right now. I saw so much praise the first few weeks this season “the highest population it’s been” and the “most I’ve ever played”. Clearly Bungie made the right move with SBMM and penalties. There should be no reason for people to leave since it’s so perfect!

5 AntwortenMinus the bees that are essentially mindless drones, don't the other examples you gave get paid really good money for their 'work'?
-
15 AntwortenFootball Player: Gets paid Surgeon: Gets paid Beehive: Survivability, much less being strained by Keepers for honey You cannot compare real life situations to a virtual environment Other games to compare it would be Halo or CoD, where you ONLY get punished for leaving ranked game modes. Destiny needs a ranked/unranked system for SBMM to be effective

11 AntwortenAren't we talking about d2s "casual" pvp mode? 🤣😂 At this point add glory points to control and call it a day
-
6 AntwortenFootball player = paid professional Surgeon = paid professional Bees = sustenance/ survival

They're jobs this is a hobby at best. People have been rage quitting since games were invented but I do agree quitting ruins other peoples games. I play apex solo most of the time and randoms will leave the second they get knocked all the time. It sucks and they deserve a penalty for leaving too much. Maybe like 1 every 5 games or so can be forgiven.

4 AntwortenBruh I'm not a surgeon, football player or bee. I'm a damn human with responsibilities. If I have to leave a match cause my dog wants to go outside for a walk then I'll gladly leave, or if my family needs help with carrying some stuff then sorry but they are more important than a crucible match. Plus damn talk about EXTREME examples like -blam!-.

10 AntwortenCool, but can we add penalties for people who are really bad at pvp - not sure why they should be allowed to free roam through all of PvP, ruining other peoples gaming experiences. Imagine a football player so terrible that the team loses because they are so bad at their position it ruins the game for the rest. Imagine such a bad surgeon that it causes the hospital lawsuits for malpractice Imagine a such a bad beehive that the just fly into the windows or the walls inside of flowers. These people would be fire from their jobs and not allowed to participate anymore. So why they allowed to ruin the gaming experience of others?
-
1 AntwortenImagine a player leaving a casual pvp match where victory doesnt matter Sure when you use extreme comparaisons you can try to make your point sounds gound. But it would work if a quickplay match was meaningfull in any ways. And its not. Losing or wining gives the same rewards. You arent going to get farmed because a player left a match and got replaced.

12 AntwortenBearbeitet von Meaga: 9/15/2022 1:40:46 PMThis idiot compared a game of destiny 2 control to professional sports and a surgery where a human life is on the line. Idk what they have in the water here but stop drinking it. It’s bad for your mental fortitude apparently.

5 AntwortenI have to sign for deliveries sometimes. You can’t always manage when they turn up. I have a door cam I can talk through. But they need a signature. Leaves game gets ban.

1 AntwortenIf you don't take a game of Control seriously, how are you going to take life seriously?

4 AntwortenThe football comparison is the best and most accurate one.

I agree. Quitters are whiny nozzles that help to ruin the overall experience. Enjoy those timeouts, quitters.
-
lets be honest here, for the people crying about the penalty, what where you going to do with those 30mins anyway ? quit the next 4 matches if you didnt get the match you wanted ?
-
Add back freelance or lobby population observation and I’ll stay in every game…

Be careful op. That bee stung a crazy fish ladies dog in the foot before.
