So by that logic they should ban anyone who disconnects from strikes, raids, missions, or dungeons as well right? What kind of playerbase would be left if they did that?
I mean honestly did you even think about what you were gonna say before you said it?

Not in pve 😂
-
Why not?
-
Getting banned from pve 😂
-
None of those are competitive modes. Pvp IS.

Bearbeitet von SaltieSeaTurtlez: 9/14/2022 3:15:37 PMYour obviously correct all of us are wrong.
-
Sorry you can't wrap your head around me stating a fact
-
Come on thats funny and you know it. No hard feelings I'm not mad at you I'm mad at my dad. He hurt me feelings too.
-
I'm just pushing for you to go to rehab at this point. Glue is not for smelling. It's for art projects and stuff. I'm just saying is all. Put the bottle of Elmer's down. You don't need that. We need each other. I love you man. I care about your addiction. Please seek help I'm gonna cry. 😂
-
bro what? control is not competitive.
-
Exactly destiny pvp is not competitive.
-
By putting SBMM in Control and putting Quitter Penalty, it's now a 6v6 Competitive Mode. That's Bungie confirming it's now Competitive. It's no longer a Casual Playlist.
-
Haha it’s destiny pvp far from competitive🤷🏼♂️
-
I meant control itself is not competitive or atleast its not suppose to be competitive. but yea it's turned into comp now that sbmm was added. But my point was since it's not suppose to be considered a competitive game mode. Maybe I just read your post wrong or something idk.
-
Even before they put SSBM back I thought "casual" pvp wasn't a thing in Destiny anymore. This just really confirms it. Quitter penalty in Control is a poor and lazy decision, implementing it with ZERO announcement is a worse decision.
-
In CBMM it was Casual. No Restrictions, non meta could thrive, better Connections, less lag, non important. SBMM is the complete opposite. They had Quitting Penalties in Y1of D2 and was removed when they put in CBMM. This is Y1 all over again.
-
It's a gamemode that pits player against player. It IS a competitive mode.
-
bro uno pits players against each other but that's still casual unless your in ranked. for example. So I'd still disagree.
-
By definition, uno is competitive. You don't have to have a ranking tied to it for it to be competitive.
-
Go do me a favor real quick will ya? Go look at where control or clash is mentioned in any TWAB ever, and point out to me exactly where it says those modes are competitive. Go on, I’ll wait.
-
Go do me a favor real quick will ya? Go look at where control or clash is mentioned in any TWAB ever, and point out to me exactly where it says those modes are competitive. Go on, I’ll wait.
That's not an argument. Bungie called destiny PvP e-sports material too in D2Y1, does that mean destiny ever was e-sports game? If you are believing what Bungie says without question, I suggest you take their word on CBMM and SBMM. You can't have it both ways
-
By definition, all the pvp modes are competitive. XD They don't need to spell out dictionary definitions in any TWAB.
-
You’ve obviously never played comp or trials enough to know the difference between those ACTUAL competitive game modes to these CASUAL pvp modes. There is a very big difference. They might as well lock out anybody who leaves any pve modes like they do for grandmaster NFs. Punish those who abuse checkpoint saving, character swapping mid activity, leaving in general, etc… you know, casual stuff.
-
And you're still trying to compare competitive modes to cooperative modes, which we aren't talking about.
-
Bearbeitet von Cold Fever: 9/19/2022 5:46:22 PMGo play halo 5, apex, cod, or war zone. Those games are actually COMPETITIVE. Destiny 2 never will be considered something as competitive for most players do you know why? Cause the game is trash.
-
It's your opinion the game is trash. Fact is that it's still one of the most played games on all the consoles 8 years later and still going strong. Yes, you also listed other games that have competitive modes. Destiny pvp is ALSO competitive. That's not up for debate, that's me stating a fact.
