There's just NO incentive to do Comp anymore
What happened to the rewards WORTH chasing in Competitive? The old ornaments are no longer there, Pinnacle weapons like Luna's and Mountaintop are all but gone now, The Unbroken title is retiring, The weekly reward for comp isn't even [i]Pinnacle Gear[/i], just Powerful Tier 1.
Comp needed a rework 8 seasons ago, bungie.
We need INCENTIVE; Pinnacle weapons, Ornaments, Mementos, ANYTHING to get people back into it!

There used to be a scout rifle that I tried shard to earn and then they sunset it and didn't bring a replacement. I still get what you are saying they really need to push the incentive for me to actually want to play again. And maybe bring back skill based match making.

6 AntwortenScrew the toxic Crucible. I'm a pve player and literally can do without it. Why make us grind in the Crucible instead of letting us play a dungeon and get pinnacle?

Bungie made the mistake of creating the expectation for something that was unsustainable. I said that when they added pinnacle weapons to the game. That it would break the game, and they’d wind up having to either nerf them into the ground, or remove them. Rewards for highly competitive pvp content has to be cosmetic only.

Comp is the only thing worth doing. Even if there’s nothing to chase and I just want to play something I won’t rage quit in. All other crucible has crappy matchmaking in overcrowded maps meant for 4v4 or 3v3. In comp I can play a few games against players my same talent level and not get smashed against a 6 stack or against terrible lobby balancing. At least in comp, if I have bad teammates, I can carry the other two. Comps appeal is to have a somewhat competitive match where nether team is overly better then the other. I enjoy comp way more then any other crucible

Trials is for wannabes that cant survive in real competitive pvp....kinda like thos washups that go to China to play ball when thier 1 step ffom living in the projects. PVP IS A JOKE AND THEY WANT IT TO DIE THEY ARE JUST TO SCARED TO SAY IT

They're just lost. Since the game is looter-shooter, comp was meant to have great weapons. And yet some complained, thus bungie removed them. So was it supposed to be about experience? no, this game has too many obstacles to be competitive, along with match making problems. They should've never listend to others crying about having no pinnacles in the first place.
