Bearbeitet von Crisidelm: 9/5/2022 8:41:57 AMDxDiag Previously: Crashed in DirectInput (stage 1). Re-running DxDiag with "dontskip" command line parameter or choosing not to bypass information gathering when prompted might result in DxDiag successfully obtaining this information I'd also update the video driver to 516.94, with a clean install
-
https://pastebin.com/UvazEMqT this is after i installed 516.94 driver and system restart. played the game until crash. no promps given on dxdiag side note. Halo infinite will also crash. 2042 has no issues and i can play for hours
-
Bearbeitet von Crisidelm: 9/5/2022 7:57:18 PMWait, Halo Infinite was known to cause problem with Destiny 2 Have you reinstalled iCUE? It's the only thing reported crashing.
-
https://pastebin.com/JgK30FeJ this was after uninstalling Halo infinite, Icue and a few other games. driver 512.77 https://pastebin.com/KU3BG16b shortly after went to driver 516.79 https://pastebin.com/tsMVaGnV And lastly this 3rd, which is while running newest gameready driver clean install everytime
-
There is not a single one error related to Destiny 2 or even the video card or any other HW; only problem with Windows updating. That's really weird. Have you tried running from an elevated Command Prompt SFC /scannow to check for possible OS corruption?
-
Scannow is one of the first things i did. It did repair some corrupted files. I can always run again
-
Really strange...
-
Ran new scannow and found no issues
-
Somehow I imagined: your Dxdiag looks like nothing wrong is really going on with D2 (or Halo Infinite), nothing is really wrong with your computer, it just so happens without leaving a trace.
-
https://pastebin.com/3r49NtEd uninstalled and reinstalled d2. this time broccoli showed up
-
Still nothing in your Dxdiag...
-
https://pastebin.com/5HBVPjEH now 2042 is crashing aswell. wasnt before. although it was after about 90min, unlike destiny which takes 2-10 min
-
I start doubting your PSU...
-
My motherboard just failed. So im assuming that might be a key issue lol Thanks for all your help over last week. Very appreciated
-
You're welcome; that was tough to guess though, motherboards don't fail very commonly, but it does happen of course...
-
Pcu is a Thermal Take smart pro 650W bronze Going to tone down my graphical settings and try to run destiny
-
Im going to try a fresh install of destiny right now. Should take 45 min
-
I did reinstall icue. Im going to uninstall again aswell as halo. Ive also once again reverted to 516.77
-
Bearbeitet von TheBlackAurora: 9/5/2022 5:27:09 PMOkay ill do another diag shortly. I have tried both the gameready and studio versions of the 516.94 but will try again. Currently rolled back to 512.77 -edit- also noticed that post game crash, Destiny 2 is still running as a background process.
