I already love the crafting system, cuz we are no longer under the mercy of the RNG (kinda). But I was thinking that what would make them even better would be is to be able to apply adept mods in them once they reach a certain level (like Lv 100 or something) because I don't think it's really making the game that rewarding to have adept mods just applied to adept weapons because they're not craftable and don't come with enhanced perks (especially the adept weapons from VoD which was real disappointing). So my Idea would be either 1: make adept weapons craftable, or 2: allow adept mods to be applied to crafted weapons when they reach a certain level.

1 AntwortenAdapt mods & Adapt weapons are rewards for the most difficult endgame activities. Grand master nightfalls, Master raid challenges, & trials flawless chests. The very idea is for them to be top tier powerful rewards for completing the hardest activities in the game. If you just made Adapt weapons craftable, what would be the rewards for completing the top tier endgame activities in the game? I don't agree with this idea.

Biggest issue, is the enhanced perks already adding stat bumps. Along with getting stat bumps to all categories when you reach level 20.

I honestly believe that Adept Raid weapons should be the only craftable raid weapons, and that you cannot craft them without doing the Master Raids they are associated with.

Also most of the weapons I actually want require leveling or dismantling 5 deepsight weapons before they can be crafted (so way [i]more[/i] time spent grinding - or just plain waiting on RNG drops to get 5 red borders). Maybe its [i]technically[/i] faster if average everything out and pour over a spreadsheet like an accountant, but I'd much rather use a weapon with a 'good' roll and hope for a better drop, than waste all that time on craptable weapons. Also the end product has [i]ZERO[/i] loadout options beyond the one choice you made when last reshaping the weapon. The reshaping process should be [i]additive[/i]. New selections we pay for should be added to the weapon options, rather than replacing the previous selections. Sure, if I [i]LOVE[/i] a weapon, I [i]might[/i] go through all the bs to craft and level it, but generally speaking, I avoid crafted weapons like the plague.

Adept weapons are in a good place, they don’t offer a competitive advantage so long as they have craftable counterparts and that’s a good thing. There’s no need for change. Crafting weapons is in an okay place and adept mods won’t make that any different. It would only make adept weapons pointless. Adept weapons should be about showing off your accomplishment. Crafted weapons should be about tailoring to a specific play style. Neither one needs any additional boost at this time.
