Why do we have to wait on Xur to give us a god roll Hawkmoon and or DMT. I mean those gun are not that op to where it would break the game if given to the community to be crafted and leveled up.

1 AntwortenBoth those weapons have been and are some of the most accessible exotics already. The most boring time you will spend in a looter shooter is when you have nothing to chase. Seems so short minded every time people beg for things to be handed to them.
-
Because they haven't gotten around to monetizing it yet....again.
-
I’d love for dmt and hawkmoon to be craftable would be so awesome
-
Bc -blam!- you. That’s why.
-
You barely play a game. You don't need them. Myself got god rolls (or almost) for PvP and PvE both of those guns. If you don't play - you have no right to complain.
-
Tbh anyone that payed for season of the hunt should be able to craft one to minimise vault space aslong as they did the missions to unlock the guns to start with
-
23 AntwortenBecause this game’s loot pool isn’t big enough or deep enough to support it. You’d break the game.

Why don’t you already have a god roll yet? It’s probably because they already had a quest to obtain the weapons and get random rolls. They didn’t want to make another quest for both or each to be able to craft them. There was already some blow back from people that grinded for god rolls when Bungie said they were going to let Xur sell random rolls. People felt it was unfair to the time they spent that others could just buy the roll they wanted without any effort. Maybe it is something Bungie was already keeping in mind and Xur was the middle ground, since crafting a weapon could be seen as even more disrespectful to those that grinded for it. Maybe it’s for the best. Not that they would have to, but I can imagine these weapons wouldn’t be craftable without a depressing level of grind associated with earning the patterns. I see nothing wrong with it if they did just make it craftable and we all had the patterns. It wouldn’t break PvP because (a) a lot of people already have the god rolls. And (b) the god rolls aren’t leaps and bounds better than any other roll. It’s not like both guns are destroying crucible now.
Why do we have to wait on Xur to give us a god roll Hawkmoon and or DMT. I mean those gun are not that op to where it would break the game if given to the community to be crafted and leveled up.
You would waste al that time due to bingle nerfing them
-
i meannn do they really need to be crafted? i can see it for pve but in pvp? that shyte would be crazzyyy
-
talking about xur, that gridskipper hes selling tis week is nasty man, i got basically 200 pvp kills in a 6 hours session people are sleeping on that gun i already vaulted my Horror' least.
-
1 AntwortenBungie wants to wring as much play time as possible from you, even the 30 seconds it'll take to check Xur's rolls of them. Just like they wasted our time giving us grindable random rolls, then put it in Xur's inventory.
-
It would free up vault space since I have a few rolls for both saved.
-
They already walked on thin ice giving them custom rolls. I doubt we'll see another exotic with custom rolls.
-
Agreed 👍
-
2 AntwortenBecause that’s a very very slippery slope
-
It was mentioned before WQ that both of them might be added after S17
-
1 AntwortenOnly if they put the patterns for both in Duality
-
3 AntwortenEnhanced perks would make them truly Exotic.

They’ve hinted for a while now that Hawkmoon is probably going to be craftable. Why they haven’t implemented it so far? My guess is to bring it as a selling feature for a future season or expansion. Basically bait people back into the game after they get tired of the current state of the game, as is usual bungie fashion. Look at the 30th anniversy dlc - that was a good dlc, for sure, but it was also a bait and a half to get people to keep playing the game during a 6 month long season. People came back to get eyasluna and matador and 1000 yard stare, and to be honest the latter two weapons turned out to be not so great compared to other options we have now.

The guns are amazing with any roll.
-
Because the system in play is a guineapig. They take data on things. Things take time before they bring things back. Im hoping dawn and worthy weapons come back to be craftable.

Bearbeitet von Griever: 8/16/2022 12:19:09 AMThen there's also the fact that DMT is getting a PVP nerf (all in all, a buff in PVE), and Hawkmoon requires enough precision and RNG (flinch not screwing you over) that most using it are probably using Radiant to make it 2 crit 1 body. Hawkmoon is usually only good if you can get the drop on people, you're not constantly getting ganged up on, or if you have near perfect accuracy (which it should need less of now with the 150 SR buff, 140 HCs should be buffed). As for DMT, it can 2 tap right now, but that's only after 3 crits + Radiant, after 4-5 crits without, or HEF, which almost no one uses in PVP. Hip fire is unreliable because of flinch and you'll miss unless you can keep the inner circle on the guy, which is pointless if you can't keep it on his head. After the buff to 150s, there's really no reason to use this in PVP since they generally have more range, a faster ttk, and can kill in 2 crits 1 body as well. In PVP, everything DMT can do, any other HISR like Jade Rabbit can do better unless DMT gets enough crits.

Why can’t we get double perks on crafted weapons? That’s my biggest complaint… agree with you though, DMT and Hawkmoon should be able to be crafted.

I'd totally grind for this.
