Please fix glaives in pvp
They are broken in the literal sense in pvp as in they often don’t work how they are supposed to
1of 4 things happen when you shoot a glaive at someone
1. You deal damage and get some shield (what is supposed to happen)
2. You get shield energy and deal no damage
3. You deal damage and get no shield energy
4. You deal no damage and gain no shield
Not asking for a buff, just a fix so they work how they’re meant to

That’s not the glaive that’s the lag in their servers. Happens all the time

I would say that when shielding and after (1 second) you projectiles do less damage(about half). Theoretically if a glaive does 100 damage then while shielding or briefly after the projectiles does 50. Ps they should up glaive melee damage to make it a two hit melee.

This applies to pretty much all weapons and is due to p2p/crossplay lag. Fix ya servers bungo!

Shockingly, the players I've seen using glaives are doing fairly well at a pretty competitive level. I know from personal experience that it is very frustrating to fail to kill someone shielding with a glaive. I would not like to see them become more common in Crucible.

I was the glaive to be as long in first person as it is in third person.

You’re right,I do think they should nerf the shield resistance as well though,75% makes all weapons besides witherhoard and heavy useless,we need more primary engagement.

Like the hit registration was actually happening most of the time instead of some. This past trials weekend was terrible for it due to the P2P connection. I shot a guy four times and no damage. The game is in such a mess

4 AntwortenSadly I want glaives to be buffed (only because I’m bad). I want them to have AoE, so they are a little bit more forgiving in pve. Outside of unique scenarios in pve, glaives a just don’t feel good to me. Not working as intended is probably due to the increased amount of lag I’ve seen in the crucible as of late. It’s probably more of a lag issue rather than glaives being inherently broken.

Are you serious? Fix Glaives with infinite shield and shoot through them? Invincible shield and you still have 2 shots. They are in fact OPed

Yeah I've started seeing this and it's ridiculous. Especially the damage reduction glaves give out.

Completely agree that they should work as intended. Heck, that goes for all weapons (cough...Jade Rabbit...cough) Also hilarious how many didn't read the post before adding their opinion to the pile.

ive ran into three in trials that had over 2000 pvp kills they shoot someone then they have unlimited shield basicly
