Just like back in September with a record breaking weekend, they have now re-enabled the dumb flawless pool for next weekend.
32% of players went Flawless this past weekend, but they don't seem to care.
34% went flawless first Trials week of Witch Queen, only 2% more, so flawless pool clearly doesn't even help.
They really seem hell bent on ruining Trials/PvP. Literally all their changes make it worse.

19 Antworten34% on first week of witch queen only had one new weapon vs. 32% on first week of this season when there were two new weapons and three new armour sets, furthermore it is with high likelihood that any increase in the number of flawless accounts and unique characters can be directly attributed to carries due to ease of execution. To be clear it is likely carries accounted for the bulk of the increase which is not a good thing as it encourages individuals who are typically paid in some way, shape, or form to promote a practice that harms the majority of participants while also undermining the “end-game competitiveness” of the activity.

1 AntwortenOk, but how many of those Flawless were repeats by the same players? I'd wager the majority of them are.
-
2 AntwortenWhy isn't anyone considering the fact trials was populated because of the new loot? That has wayyyy more to do with it than pools do. First weekend with new armor and weapons. It's part of the equation.

I had a pretty good time this weekend playing solo. I liked the randomness of it.
-
23 AntwortenIt was a horrible weekend for solos, that's why the flawless pool is back Sorry, no more easy flawless
-
Hopefully it's summoner next weekend.
-
Remove the flawless pool!
-
This is proof that the way the flawless pool is set up is dumb. I’ve been saying it since day 1. Ether start it way sooner or not at all
-
10 AntwortenIt isnt about how many go flawless. Its about how many players.
-
3 AntwortenOne problem. The scrubs suffer. The streamers are glorified. I get beat up. Don't you care about scrubs?
-
Bc teams were farming solos. Glad you benefitted. Back to reality next week.

15 AntwortenContext matter here ...while lots went flawless it was probably 1 of the worst weekend Let see why 1- 1st trial weekend of the season 2-matchmaking wouldn't match you with opponent with the same wins as you 3-because of #2 they disabled flawless pool 4-lots of solo were playing that weekend for the new stuff So what do we have here.unfair matchmaking teams with 5+ wins fighting fresh cards ,solo getting destroyed by teams Yea that sound like a great weekend and not the reason why trial is broken at its core

1 Antworten362,000 total trials players this week 110,000 went flawless 1 streamer alone accounted for 66 flawless light house trips.. 362,000 is average trials participation not high, 110,000 flawless is extremely high light house trips. This tells me players who normally carry and reset to avoid the flawless pool, didn't have to reset to avoid it to make their carries harder... You actually hurt your argument.

2 AntwortenI am sure having burnout as the map helps
-
Why would they change it? Because the casual playerbase is what’s left making them bank. This might sound crazy, but they want eververse transactions. The casual playerbase has a HIGHER CHANCE of buying cosmetics then a long loyal player (eververse is DESPISED by most veterans). So if the casuals are upset with a gaming experience, like trials, they actually lose players and therefore money. They want whales to buy their eververse stock, and the game needs to appeal to them to keep them playing.

2 AntwortenI've been reading a few of these posts and the no.1 response is "nO mOrEw EaSy WiNs FoR yOu" And I just.....like my dudes you don't get to play the "oh you just want easy games" card AND THEN LITERALLY NOT PLAY THE MODE UNTIL BUNGIE REMOVE EVERY HALF DECENT PLAYER FROM YOUR PLAYER POOL. How do you not see the hypocrisy you spew? Like fellas the lack of self awareness is astounding. And to clarify there's nothing wrong with disagreeing on the management of the gamemode your probably human and humans are gonna disagree until the end of time but mayyyyyybe think of a better point then pretending everyone else wants it even easier when you're arguing as to why it should be even easier for you......
-
2 AntwortenThat’s interesting. I didn’t realise it would be so high. Do you have any info for the weekends when the flawless pool is active?
-
8 AntwortenYou also gotta remember that the people that do not want to play sweaty PVP try to get their gear in the first few weeks and then leave. The numbers the first few weeks of trials are always inflated.
-
It’s less of a thing about them ruining it than it is that the 56% who went flawless just massacred scrubs who will eventually quit because they lose most games. It was a blowout if you solo queued into trials over weekend so that 56% flawless is all but guaranteed to be stacks.
-
Bearbeitet von A_mo: 6/15/2022 1:57:29 PMWhere does it say that 56% of players went flawless over the weekend? Pretty sure that would be the highest percentage ever. Its nonsensically high. Unless trials report is broken- 30.4665229

1 AntwortenGood. Sweats should play against sweats and not ruining flawless runs
-
Bearbeitet von DHawk12: 6/15/2022 1:35:29 PMThat % is tainted due to the insane # of carries. That said, I do prefer no flawless pool and no card based mm like how trials originally was in D1Y1.
-
But how many was that expressed as an amount?
-
8 AntwortenWhat skill level were those players exactly? Bet they weren’t the low-skilled. Top players were farming low players.
-
1 AntwortenBearbeitet von Smough: 6/14/2022 8:52:45 PMI can’t even imagine how much easier flawless carries were last weekend, which is probably why the percentage is higher. Or just dumb luck. When I was playing with my clan, we faced one team that had any chance of winning. Every other game was “free” as my clan mate put it. We were facing teams of players with 0.6-1.0 KDAs all the way up to flawless. It would be interesting to see how high the flawless percentage would be when there are less players going for flawless near the latter half of the season if the same matchmaking as last weekend was put in place.
-
3 AntwortenWhat % is it usually? 56% does seem pretty high I bet there were a ton of paid carrys this weekend. Didn’t even have to reset your card to avoid the flawless pool
