There are 7 real, permanent destinations (EDZ, Cosmodrome, Moon, Nessus, DC, Throne, Europa) and on nearly half of them there is nothing to do but patrol.
I've never seen a studio struggle so badly at keeping up with so little content.

3 AntwortenI don't mean this in a negative way at all, but a quick glance at your triumphs tab shows why you think the game doesn't have enough content: you don't play it. You've quite literally never stepped foot in Crucible, you've only played one of the five dungeons, only two of the five raids, and 0 GMs. I mean this nicely, but you can't very well say a game lacks content when you don't engage in the endgame--or the entire PVP half of it. You're just choosing not to play most of it.

2 AntwortenBearbeitet von TheShadow: 6/12/2022 4:07:34 PMWhat was that saying, something along the lines (there is a lot of content but nothing to do?) IMO there is plenty of content, it's just Bungie doesn't want to keep things relevant. They rather keep removing content to replace it with something else, but the problem with that is most of their content is very short-lived leaving really nothing to do in this game other than the same repeated prosses that has been going on more so since Activision left. The amount of content has never been the problem, it's the quality of it. D1 as we all know had its issues, but it kept a much healthier player base that in D2 Bungie had to go with the new light system just to get players to play.

Yea the planets aren't relevant anymore, I think instead of putting the crafting materials in red weapons they should put them in like hotzone things that pop up on the director, saying resonate element or whatever is droping in nessus activities. And that goes on for an hour or two than it goes on to the next planet.

Buddy you are a nobody that hates on the game everyday Grow up and blow away

All the planets are desolate. The only reason people go to those planets is if there is a seasonal challenge

11 AntwortenThey struggle with content cause of the engine and tools they are burdened with. Upon reading real ex employees' reviews, almost everyone of them had terrible things to say about what they had to work with. One read: "Just to move a pillar 2 metres, I have to leave the map loading overnight when I go home from work and pray that when I return in the morning it didn't crash AGAIN.". In the Activision-Bungie contract (Google it for yourself if you don't believe me!). It forced Bungie to use their own engine. Activision didn't want to give another company like Epic a cut for using their engine like Unreal (they only charge 12% of sales!). So Bungie was forced to pull out 2004 Halo engine. Which was fine before 2014 when they were delevoping Destiny 1 but nowadays with so much more demand on it (4K, HDR, so many new mechanics, etc) it just can't handle it. According to ex employees, they are both too stubborn to switch to a better system, and too invested already in their current engine. That's why there is the DCV and takes so -blam!- long just to fix something like Blight Ranger helmet. Don't believe me? Then explain for everyone why 14 Crucible Maps and 2 Gambit Maps were vaulted. Why would a 2022 game need to "vault" so much content? Cause the engine was too bloated and the crashing became too much to do anything.

1 AntwortenIt's never ever been "bursting with content"...

Who says it's bursting???

1 AntwortenLast season was great, this season sucks, I'm already bored lol. I've been playing more NHL 22 than Destiny this season, that's how bad this season is.
-
3 AntwortenContent is fine. Your perception is the issue.
-
It's their super crap engine. The new season is really just a leviathan copy paste with Presage stuff dumped all over it. Really makes you wonder about if there was any truth to why the content vault happened, seems to me they just wanted more stuff to recycle. I'm not saying they aren't doing what they can with what they have, but imagine what this game could be if they had a good engine and not that turd.

These guys can't do squat!😂😂😂 They've got a new manager and a new director for this game. You would think the game would improve by now, right?... Coming from a company that complained about making content is hard. And yet they have the audacity to announce that they are working on multiple new projects. And then come up with schemes to play recycled content and now pumping up 8 year old recycled weapons and even ask gamers to pay for it again! 😂😂😂 It's laughable!!! 😂😂😂 I see Desperation here! 😂😂😂 LAUGHABLE!!!

4 AntwortenBearbeitet von Morakx: 6/12/2022 11:07:30 AMIkr? I mean look at world of warcraft. That game has like 50+ Raids STILL available from across 18 years of devolpment and more than 100 dungeons. Also all the zones are still there from 18 years of expansions. And Bungie struggles with their little DCV to keep content for longer than a year in their game. Garbage spaghetti code and incompetent staff i guess. It's stil beyond me how this tiny game content wise gets so much love while they keep robbing content from paying customers.
-
well it's certainly bursting with bugs!
-
*bursting with content (*If you're brand new and haven't been drop fed content since 2017)

4 AntwortenYou play destiny way to much dude ! There is plenty in game . What are you or people expecting for $14 . There are a lot of people who play destiny for hours and hours everyday ….not healthy and yeah you will get annoyed 🤷🏼♂️
-
People say that? With a straight face?
-
I seriously don’t understand why we can’t replay story missions whenever we feel like it. In Destiny 1 we had that option for EVERY MISSION and we had a daily story mission that gave us some nice rewards too.
-
There are lots of bounties …. That’s content right???

Bearbeitet von Demon_XXVII: 6/12/2022 7:40:18 AMI have no problem with the Deluxe edition (Comet/Seasons/Dungeon) costing £90/$100 a year Play it for an hour a day & it’s costing less than 25pence/32 cents p/day (wouldn’t even buy a Mars bar) I’d happily pay for a Vanguard Expansion (say 15-20 new Strikes/NF with strike & nightfall exclusive loot & maybe even skeleton keys etc) Same with Crucible & the missing maps/huge scope it has but Bungie let it rot because it’s part of the F2P “hook” But then compare D2 to another “online” title ESO (base game is currently £4.99 on PlayStation store) PvE game (yes it’s a different type of game/pace/experience) - can still game with your pals and become a super powerful mage/warlock/thief/assassin/knight etc Subscription to that is £10/$15 per month (£120/$180 for a year) 1 month sub cancellation at any time (cheaper if you sub to 6/12 months) This sub contains ALL ¹DLC & the previous yearly Expansions ¹Access to DLC game packs available in the Crown Store (2022 High Isle Chapter not included) progression bonuses There’s even near limitless material storage & free in store credit (crowns) There’s no way you’re running out of things to do there! Play a year behind the curve…it’s hardly FOMO anyways Witch Queen campaign was the best it’s made since Forsaken (Cayde’s quotes were worth the cash) But after that WQ veneer, the Throne World was empty (the reveal/qualichor system etc is extremely underwhelming) Save your cash for studios that produce real excellence (Sucker Punch, Naughty Dog, Guerrilla Games, Kojima Productions, Striking Distance, Techland, Nintendo amongst others) Play Smarter!

Once you realize how small the endgame is. You begin to understand that this is a few hours a day to play then put it down. There's a lot of stuff in the game.........but VERY little to do. I don't have the time or patience to list what kills off a lot of replay ability so I'll throw out one thing. Farmable raids. Not this rotator BS.

Lazy work by bungie, idk what’s going on but it seems like monkeys in suits running that place
