Regarding Legend/Master difficulty locked exotics
I never thought I would say this (this is legitimately a giant kick in the pride for me) but, I'm just not as good at video games as I used to be.
I can't just "git gud" any more, I just dont have the time or skill. It's just a bummer that so many awesome exotics are locked behind legend/master mode solo lost sectors. I just wanna ask that if any devs see this, they perhaps consider an alternative to how it currently is. Perhaps not making it solo only? Or even simply just removing the timer would help me incredibly.
I've already accepted that I just can't get my hands on any raid exotics (maybe this has changed due to the first chest in the new raid!) but it's the armors that are really special for me in enabling me to experience new ways to play.

I also am aging and snap reflex are not what they once were. I have recently started trying lost sectors solo legendary and it really depends heavily on your build and which lost sector it is. Ignore the youtube videos "60 second lost sector farm" cos that just aint gonna happen take your time at first and you will slowly get faster and faster. Consider your build for champions and shielded enemies also some are easier than others i.e. last week the cabal lost sectors in the EDZ were pretty easy and I could get through in under five mins or so but the fallen ones on the moon were just a pain in the -blam!- with champion servitors and it would take me 10-15 mins per run, I only did a couple of runs and then couldn't be assed with those servitors anymore. Just keep at it and you will succeed. Eyes up guardian.

I don’t have a problem doing the Legend/Master lost sectors, but I do think they shouldn’t be the ONLY avenue for new exotics. So here’s what I’m thinking: In the Lost Sectors, make it so if you get an exotic to drop, make it guaranteed to be one you don’t have. That allows a clear method to obtain the new stuff as fast as possible. BUT For anyone who doesn’t want to do the Lost Sectors, put the exotics in exotic engrams, allowing for a random chance to get it. It won’t be guaranteed to get it, but it would allow them to be more accessible. I see this as a perfectly reasonable middle ground.

2 AntwortenIf you want someone to run pinnacles with you to get your light up I can help. Once you get enough light it will be significantly easier and fun to run those lost sectors because you’ll be able to test different loadouts once you’ve got the hang of it.

Forget master mode it isn't worth the frustration for a very insignificant drop chance increase. It's all about loadout. You don't even have to use the same weapons he recommends I more just want you to see his subclass and mod setup. You could also try watching a video on YouTube during your lunch break to see first hand how other players are doing these, it will help knowing where to stand and whatnot. Just search the name of the lost sector and lots of videos are on there for players just like you. These exotics will all be yours in no time! Cheers.

Also, exotics drop at a 25% chance. Sometimes you will do 7 in a row with nothing, but the next 3 you give you exotics. Pretty much there is no bad luck protection.

Here is the fun for leg sectors. You make a build for every single one. Then you do it 20 times to get an exotic you will never use. Except lorly slender that helmet is good. Some days you won't have the weapon or damage types to do it. Fill your vault with wepons you will be comfortable using eventually. Also max out your resilience, it got a buff this season. 40% max.
