2 Iron Banner rank resets
Who was saying we could get Iron Lord this week? I was finally able to reset rank, and not sure why I was surprised, but it requires 2 resets for the triumph.
54 matches up to 10 minutes a piece.. sure let me just no life this all week
2 days of bugged rep gains.. and I'm not sure where this "double rep gains until weekly reset" comes into play because i'm still getting ~ 400-600 rep at 4/5 streaks per match at 22x rep (9 challenges, emblem, 5 gear). If it was actually double rep I'd be getting about 1k a match. So.. nice try there guys.

in before the BDF says "uhhh IB is 2 weeks duhhh" -- maybe in 7 weeks it'll be back, at which point no one cares anymore
this season is up there with Curse of Osiris, everywhere you turn utter disappointment

They did say only the really dedicated players could They anticipated most players not doing it in a single week.

All the numbers in multipliers were and are misleading. Before my third reset, I started writing down every match, every rep gain. loss, where I was positioned on the leaderboard. And also, I record my Pinnacle drops, and out of 21 Pinnacles, 17 of them were useless energy weapons. The maximum I was able to achieve with a 26.4 multiplier was only 660 for a win, and 440 for a loss. Then I won the one right afterwards, and only got 448. I'm a numbers guy, and these numbers don't lie. Winning eight solo/freelance matches in a row, and seeing the match increase results vary dramatically.

I posted here yesterday saying my clan mate (technically I said friend) did it starting Saturday and finished Sunday night. After reading this yesterday I started the jaunt for Iron Lords wanting to see if it could be done in essentially 24 hours (I didn’t play 24 hours) which it can be. I completed Iron Lords about an hour and a half ago from the time of writing this. I flipped my rank twice and am at rank 10 for the third time with Saladin. A little drive and determination goes a long way friend.

1 AntwortenI am on my 5th reset Once you get all the buffs it's silly how fast you rank up I also have already got the Seasonal Machine gun crucible ornament, and the Seasonal triumph for doing so popped up and it's not available yet

I'll probably get roasted for saying this but considering the new rift IB doesn't require a vast amount of skill, just coordination and strategy anyone can get it. That alone kind of makes sense why it requires such a vast time sink. No, I am not wasting my time for it either, it's way too long to even get four pinnacles let alone reset twice. I did it once, I'll worry about it another time. Basically, yea I agree it's a giant time sink but in the end it's not hard to get.

In my experience the matches only last about 4 minutes. That's about how long the usual 5-0 blowout takes.

3 characters over a few days gets it, that’s not even using full IB gear/ornaments/weapons/emblem. My buddy finished last night, it’s a slog but definitely doable regardless of whining or complaining that it isn’t.

I nearly am rank 3 after reaching Iron Lord status, did it over a 24 hr period starting on Friday after all the shenanigan's was over, finished with 28.6%, had over 40 IB engrams to collect when done - crazy.

6 AntwortenTo be fair the title doesn't take any skill just alot of grinding. Don't let FOMO or OCD take over. Have fun and complete it when you can. Not to throw shade but the only ones to complete this title are going to be kids(because they don't have jobs or full responsibilities yet). Which I would say take more breaks and go out and chase girls or something. Soon your balls will be saggy and women will have national geographic 8008ies, so enjoy the young years and wait to play games when you're are literally tied down(I.e married or in a serious relationship). And those without work.( In this case I don't have to tell you because I darn well know your mom is up your 8utt 24/7 about it.) Lastly streamers and content creators (fun profession until you have to introduce yourself to your significant others parents.)

I got the seal done by end of the weekend, glad I did I dont want to have to play IB rift a second time this season hopefully its back to control or clash next season with actual new loot aswell.

I get 600 on wins and 400 on losses. If you really are invested in yhe title, now would be the time to get those resets Edit: mY mistake didn't fully read. Sorry.

Where did it say you had to do it in a week? IB comes twice this season. You have 2 opportunities to do it. Reset this week. Reset the next time it comes around Luckily I’m in a clan so I’m approaching my second, but there’s nothing stating or forcing you to do it in a week

It’s not something that HAS to be done in one week. There’s nothing wrong with the process. Sometimes we need to just relax.

4 AntwortenThey said it would be achievable in the first IB for people who were dedicated to earning it so quickly. Two rank resets is hardly difficult over the course of 4 weeks, if you even want to earn the seal at all. It's not like it's locked behind some actual challenges *looking at you Flawless* It's just about wearing some gear and playing the game.
