Skip "Grenades" Are Ridiculous
This nerf has made them not worth equipping. They could be distributed in the Last City at kid's birthday parties as toys now.
25 damage is truly ridiculous. Just remove them from the game. Or if arc 3.0 is going to buff them back up then you should have left them alone until that time. Crazy.
Twenty Five damage!! That's not a grenade, that's a party favour.
A ridiculous nerf. A total and utter nerf. A nerf in to the ground. You've completely negated them. Arc Striders have only 2 grenades now. Don't break them then leave them lying around, just throw them out and replace them with something useful.
Nuts.

They deserved it. I remember trying to play doubles at one point and literally ran into hunters who did nothing but spam skip grenades and there was absolutely nothing you could do about it. If arc 3.0 comes out and all classes get access to them stuff like trials would be lobbies of people just team chucking skip nades at each other. They're absolutely devastating when multiple players start spamming them in unison.

11 AntwortenSkip grenades were literally the most buggy grenades in the game. Sometimes they just did triple damage for NO REASON. Good riddance.

Probably just trying to get it out of the way before we get nothing but axion bolt spam. The tracking grenades are so unbelievably cheese, but 25 damage is crap.

I think they have a board with all of the abilities and weapons on it and they get drunk on the weekends and throw darts at it. Whatever they hit they mess with on Monday with a major hang over. Just like Halo Infinite has been run into the ground, D2 isn't far behind.

It’s fair, lingers and unavoidable, meant to stop damage not do damage, only used with an exotic that makes it better and spammable. Wait until we have arc 3.0 when they are the only hunter grenade used on arc

Most of abilities in D2 aren't even [i]half[/i] as potent as D1 abilities. Simply recharge more slowly and do much less damage.

I didn't even know about......well, any of the changes, really. But that's.... Honestly hysterical to me. Seems that, once again, their lack of separating the sandboxes ages ago continues to plague the wild back-and-forth waffling on nerfs and buffs. It's just funny that the kids' toy "Skip-It" is more dangerous than Skip Grenades. XD Oh, I know that was a really stupid joke and you're absolutely welcome for it.

1 AntwortenI bet they nerfed it cuz when arc 3.0 comes and the other 2 classes can use there exotics that buff grenades like Veritys brow or heart of inmost light it would be too op hunter exotics only buff specif nades and rarely damage just young spine of Arhamkara lol they have to nerf them cuz the other too classes are getting them and they are just naturally better than hunters so they need to nerf our stuff for a season to prepare lmao

1 AntwortenNobody even used them because Arcbolt is superior in every way. Brainless auto-tracking grenades plague the Crucible and Bungie is likely pre-emptively nerfing them in anticipation of Arc 3.0 (still dumb because that's weeks away).

1 AntwortenAgreed, they already killed Shinobus, I can't even remember the last time I saw skips nades in a match. Arc hunters essentially now have 2 grenades and one of them is a sticky with no tracking most won't touch. Arcbolt or bust. Joke of a change that came out of nowhere. Maybe they'll hit kehpris horn next? XD

3 AntwortenThey sucked badly to begin with then this nerf lol. I'm going to assume arc 3.0 is a month away. Here is the thing though. If it's going to be an aspect or fragment to bring it back up to what it was I don't want it. Not strong enough in this sandbox.

All these abilities nerf , is just kinda killing the game for me. Already lost nearly a page worth of friends when the update hit. My clan disbanded lol, so I'm back to solo again. Idk wth they doing there at bungie maybe they are listening to all the "these abilities are to op, nerf them" or "we want more gunfights not abilities" what causing this garbage. The sad thing I think they going to nerf everything to the ground then buff ot when the new arc and solar releases and then repeat the cycle. They buff to say they listen then take it back and wait for another season or 2 to buff w.e it is that was nerfed

If I were to guess it will more then double the number of seekers. I love when the nerf an whole ability to balance one weapon/exotic/perk. See also empowering rift damage, titan barrier cool down, and sunspot damage.

It's probably for the Arc subclass update. They most likely tested something with the aspects internally that broke them so hard they preventively nerfed them. I don't think i've seen anybody ever complain about them, actually i never see them even used in game for how bad they've always been.

im guessing its prep for arc 3.0 maybe next season. theyre probably adding aspects that would make them OP in their current form.
