Okay, so I moved from ps to Xbox. Bungie already knows my account information and knows that I've bought every d2 dlc since it's launch. Apparently non of that matters when you transfer to a different system. Fine Microsoft wants thier two cents, I'll pay it. But why should I have to re-buy everything I've already bought. Even if I only have to buy the witch queen and the season bundle again it's too much. And enough for me to say goodbye to my, often rocky anyway, relationship with the franchise. just saying

That’s how platform licensing works. Platform companies make money from sales through their marketplace.

3 AntwortenYou are obviously missing the point. Bungie knows what dlc I've already bought. Payed to Sony and BUNGIE. Now I'm supposed play for the same things already purchased, and pay Microsoft and BUNGIE. I'm pretty sure the license for Sony and Microsoft is a small percentage of the payment amounts. So there is no reason Bungie can't say "well these guys already payed for all this content once, they can just pay for this 'console change package' where we just give Microsoft the license fees". I'm sure Microsoft and Sony wouldn't mind. Destiny 2 doesn't have much in the way of a 'value to content ratio' anyway, if it did I'd probably be more inclined to repurchase everything. I'm not repurchasing everything again, thus never purchasing anything again. Done with Destiny, end of story. I'm starting to think a lot of you 'destiny fanboys' are actually Bungie employees, a lot cheaper than having an actual customer service, and you can spew out whatever garbage you want to defend them. Funny how people are so quick to gang up on someone with a complaint here.

Seasons are eververse. They stay with your account wherever you log in.’. You need to buy what is considered “dlc” Witch queen and the 30th anniversary is considered dlc’s.

all destiny players have something similar, they can't read

Cry about it to Microsoft if you think they care, it’s not bungies problem

Bearbeitet von CUROCH: 4/25/2022 12:23:47 AMJust get rid of cross save. Since you have failed to understand how licensing works you can regrind all the same bs on a new account 😂🤣😂🤣.

1 AntwortenJust ignore this post, op doesn't understand how a licence works

Xbox/Sony are in control of the licenses and Microsoft isn't going to honor a Sony purchase. ! exactly like you said "Microsoft wants thier two cents". 2 holy -blam!- would that be exploitable. Bungie still allows you to use all the gear that you own in game though even if your current platform doesn't own the DLC they came from. Only exception is Stasis I believe.

I see these posts daily. I’ve typed and deleted many, many, many paragraphs. Today I’m typing this out. Short and simple. You switching platforms….
It isn’t a Bungie problem
If I buy a copy of call of duty on steam I don’t get it on Xbox. It’s the same deal, licensing is for the platform.

2 AntwortenYou answered your own question. Everyone wants their 2 cents on each platform.

Bearbeitet von RingersCheckmate: 4/24/2022 8:08:16 PMMicrosoft and Sony make a portion of each purchase. Good luck convincing either side to let you transfer DLC licenses. Lemme know what other games let DLC licenses transfer, and if your relationship with other games that handle it like D2 is any different.

Has nothing to do with Bungie bud

Bearbeitet von Sweet Lew 88: 4/24/2022 10:35:29 PMWhy did you switch when they've been doing this for years.... You could have predicted this and prepared. Bungie gave us cross save, not cross license. Just be happy you didn't need to start from scratch and you have your guardians across all platforms... You can't buy assassin's Creed on Xbox and get to play it for free on PlayStation.
