I don't know why they're dragging their heels for FL Trials but Bungie works on archeological timeframes in development, especially when it comes to Crucible. They did announce (TWAB https://www.bungie.net/en/Explore/Detail/News/50729) that soloplaying is the key to the whole thing working (their words). However in interpretation it seems that [I] exploiting [/I] soloplaying was the actual key referred to. They want the numbers from soloplayers to prop up regular population, without considering the experience for soloplaying, as is more usual than not. It was certainly left vague how they're going to change things but it was not reassuring for soloplaying.

Maybe because trials is not a solo type gamemode? Have you tought about it? Its like you asking for raids to be solo

Keep up, they opened it up to soloplaying and have Labs FL. It's not intrinsically a premade team only mode at all even if historically it has been. As long as there's separate playlists there's no problems.

No idea what you're smoking. I don't play Trials, when I did I bounty- jumped. The issue is for them not to abuse those soloplaying, to merely bolster populations in the regular mode. They're suggesting some kind of single hybrid mode where the lobbies are auto-sorted. If that's instead of FL it's not going to work.
