Master Vow suggests a lack of listening to players still exists or is happening again
The players: Overload champs still feel kind of broken, we don’t like the mods for them or how they work
Bungie: adds Overload champs to every master Vow encounter
Adept weapons don’t have enhanced perks, yet normal versions can be crafted to have them.
Adept weapons aren’t craftable, while the normal version can be crafted to the players god roll without playing: Vow of the Disciple Overload Champion Version.
What happened? How did it happen? It’s obvious this wasn’t the way to go about this. You had to know how people would respond.

3 AntwortenSo I grinded 3 challenges this week and used some spoils on a master clear. I actually think ppl are kind of wrong about these adepts. I have a Deliverance that BLOWS MY CRAFTED OUT OF THE WATER. It would not without an adept mod. Every stat is about 10 higher. Had several drop that are noy nearly as good tho. Seems if you get a god roll adept, that it is indeed better.

D1 had difficulty tiers and mechanics changed for raids. It wasn't like this back then where higher difficulty meant just more thugs with gun locked mechanics. Just lazy and trash thinking from a used-to-be "triple A" game development studio.

6 AntwortenThis has been Bungie's way of making content "difficult" probably since Shadow Keep. - Add more Champs - make everything beefy and insta kill you. If anyone thought Master Vow wouldn't have champ spam, them I'm sorry. Overload smg/auto is still inconsistent and crap. Just make it always on or aim to activate like Barrier and Unstoppable. Champions are just Bungie's new way to curate your loadout so things seem more difficult than they actually are.

2 AntwortenEasy fix: Get rid of champions. I’ve always disliked them and I’m sick of this horrible artificial difficulty mechanic ruining my end game experiences. PS. Disliking a mechanic doesn’t mean I can’t beat it. I’ve done nearly every available master lost sectors flawlessly when I was ~20 LL below required. PSS. “Encourages diversity”… No, it locks you into specific gear on engagement approaches. And why does or should anyone care what I use for an engagement? It’s ridiculous the excuses people will make to justify a mistake a dev made.

6 AntwortenHate to say it but y’all bragged and talked down to people about end game content and skillz and blah blah blah. Overload champs should be a breeze for you elites. How did they forget about Adept weapons? Same way they “forget” everything else.

I’m fine with the champs in Master VotD. Master is a difficulty for higher skilled players anyways. Some players just need to stick with Legend difficulty.

You are a minority and get way more attention and content in the first place than the casual vast majority of the playerbase gets. No pvp content, no gambit content, no strike content in like 4 years. On the other hand you got: GM nightfalls with adepts introduced, master raids, trials loot refresh, master dungeons, master versions of seasonal activities and even master story missions. All with extremely hight drop rates and exclusive loot while they reduced drop rates significantly for lower difficulties. This company literally caters ALL their content for this tiny hardcore minority of players and you still complain. Shush.

1 AntwortenIt’s just such a -blam!- shame cuz they had a GREAT difficulty balance in the Legend campaign for a hard mode, but see that actually requires time and effort to balance properly. Hence why we don’t have it.

Overload sniper are probably the only overload type that aren't terrible since they don't teleport I dont like fallen or scorn oberload but taken vex doesn't have the issue the others as
