I get that people are up about and get their panties in a twist when ordinary mere mortals like myself clammer about that the raids should have MM to get more people playing and enjoy the content that they have in most cases payed for.
ok i let you keep your precious Raids, but ffs get the ball rolling on the Dungeons at least.
So many people miss out on content that they easily can achieve with some backup from players, and there is no need for tactical strategies as well. But the scale in difficulty can make it hard for solo try outs and it's quite boring as well.
I have played Dares of eternity for two days straights, and it's really a bit of fun. The best activity by a long-shot, after that comes Psiops. Bungie can vault the rest as much as i'm concern if they do not give MM a shot on the dungeons.
People that have bought for example the 30-A edition and can not manage either the play themselves or get a band of bros together can see themselves as fkked on the Gjallarhorn, Xenophage and all the loot in Prophecy! and more.
And most of this is considered "OLD" content by most players and not many people want to play old sh*t so they chase the new stuff!
GET MM FOR Dungeons PLEASE.

Respectfully, you don't know what you're asking for. I can guarantee you with 100% certainty that if you got what you're asking for, you would be just as frustrated if not moreso. It's bad enough getting into and LFG group with people who have no idea what they're doing. Matchmaking would make it so much worse. The success rate of a random matchmade fireteam clearing a dungeon, much less a raid, would be no greater than 5%, and that's being generous. You would get people who have never done it before that don't know the mechanics, who don't have mics, don't have sensible loadouts, etc. The problems would be endless. The forums would flood with new posts from people just like yourself essentially calling for all sorts of limits and alterations to the dungeon/raid matchmaking that would eventually reduce it to what it is now, which, like or not, is the most efficient system. ALL that being said, Yesterday I jumped into a random LFG to do Grasp of Avarice for my first time after having skimmed a how-to video. Cleared it no problem with the two other random guys because they likely had clears, or had looked up how to do it like I had. Jumped into it one more time for the catalyst (again, after having researched how to do it), and got it done. All you need is youtube and LFG. I promise. It isn't that hard. I'm not being condescending or dismissive, I'm offering genuine advice. Good luck.

1 AntwortenUhh how about No! Dungeon's are end game Content and if you put match making on it i Guarantee for a Fact you'll be getting nothing but Little Kid's coming in & Intentionally Grieving & Trolling. If you need a Fire team put a post up for lfg as there's usually always someone looking to do dungeons.
-
2 Antwortenhow about no. If you wanna do a raid or dungeon just lfg it’s not hard. Optional mm for dungeons and raids is such a horrible idea Idk how you guys come up with this dumb s**t
-
25 AntwortenOptional matchmaking across the board. Let the people who want to play with strangers play with strangers, and let the loners be loners. Most people who argue against this ignore the key word “optional”. For some reason they want to force everyone to play their way.
-
Optional matchmaking for all PvE activities (except raids). Bungie's faulty approach of having to join a clan or LFG to do activities can be very tedious.
-
Yes. Matchmaking for dungeons. And optional matchmaking across the board.
-
6 AntwortenSo should legend nightfalls. But bungie hate solo players, so I'm forced to solo everything. Don't know why people are against it, as it doesn't affect them anyway?
-
I actually agree, would be interesting if they had an option for it. Would at least be a good test for matchmaking.
-
No reason why dungeons can’t have mm. At least half of the runs I’ve done have been quick runs with lfg teams no comms.
-
5 AntwortenSo do raids, but despite being an almost entirely positive change a lot of elitist gatekeepers hate matchmaking for endgame PvE as if it would actually affect their premade fireteams.
-
how about no scott

1 AntwortenGood luck even finishing the entrance of any dungeon with BingoBongo1235436 and vapeMaStEr69420 in your fireteam lol.

They never will have it. Unluckily man. It sucks to suck

People will use wrong load outs/subclasses/mods and then someone will leave and rinse and repeat. MM sounds good but on paper it bad design. Raids will be even worse, especially with bobobingus who has no coms and as there is no kick feature you will just attempt-die-repeat. Let's not even think about locked loadouts and how that will work out. If you can make a post complaining about how you can't complete said dungeon/raid because no matchmaking then clearly you can make an lfg post with said requirements, its easy as that.

Bearbeitet von ZER0KOOL303: 4/8/2022 8:10:35 AMWhy so people can just sit there and not help ? Just get a clan. If you are I'm need I have a decent little clan. The Black Legion X. LMK

3 AntwortenThey really aren’t algae’s to figure out, I have no idea why they don’t have optional matchmaking.
-
3 AntwortenIf raids have matchmaking (guided games) then why don’t dungeons.

I'm against mm for higher level activities that have a wipe and start over mechanic, cause some people just like to bs in them, and that would cause for a frustrating experience. I'd rather an in-game lfg option. Will say, if they do decide to do mm for dungeons, there should be a requirement before you unlock/access it. Something like you having to complete a full run of said dungeon before being able to mm. That way people know the others they match with have done it at least once.
-
I'd rather them make an in game LFG. Several reasons 1. Less resources needed from Bungie 2. Control over your team 3. Matchmaking has shown that most people don't understand how to problem solve on a basic level in this game 4. It'd probably drop you in alone half the time anyways considering how much it happens in strikes Also on the note of dungeons, to anyone who hasn't solo flawlessed shattered throne yet go in as a hunter. Nightstalker is a free clear as long as you don't struggle with parkour.

Sony people miss out due there own laziness.. has nothing to do with matchmaking or not.. get out there make posts on lfg.. join discord servers.. join a clan.. plenty of options but you choose none of them.. I get it at tines I don't want to be on the mic.. nuce thing about the dungeons is after you learn the mechanics of it.. uou really don't have to be. They are designed so they can be solo'd.. they are very simple. Actually just Yesterday a friend of mine that has not been on destiny in 3-4 months jumped on and we two manned the dungeon.. with him learning the very simple mechanics as we went. We had to 3 phase the boss because lack of heavy.. but point is we did it pretty easily..
-
3 AntwortenSwallow your pride, or whatever social-anxiety bullplop you've got going on and just use an LFG. It really is that simple. You people are just lazy asf
-
1 AntwortenA simple OPTION to enable match making for EVERYTHING. Having the OPTION to enable match making would satisfy both sides of the argument. Just add it to the list why I have stopped playing this game.
-
I'd be on board for that. I think perhaps when a new dungeon first launches it shouldn't have it but like a week or 2 after launch it gets the matchmaking.
-
Dungeons are the only content that I agree should have optional match making. Mechanic and difficulty wise, dungeons are in a good spot where even if two players play like labotomized chimpanzees, the other player in theory would be able to carry the dead weight (that poor -blam!- though). Raids on the other hand, optional matchmaking would still have poor results. Sure you'd get a group easily. But if 4 out of 6 of the players are brain dead idiots amd they refuse to listen or use mics you will never get past the entrance to the raid. Let alone even kill a single boss.
-
Definitely for dungeons since no comms is required
-
honestly, given that now you need to buy the super special awesome 80 bucks a year pack, yes id argue for it to get matchmaking, and no, dont blame it on the LFG, if a LFG group was able to get a raids world first, its just a matter of opening that mic and start talking to ppl, youd be surprised the results you can get
