Saladman and Zavala were there, Crow just didnt like what they had to say, warping their words into making him feel his were being ignored. They were not. They were put down with reason and thought to the bigger picture, not the percieved suffering of a race of creatures that would sooner have his entrails decorating their bodies like party streamers. Crow willing to accept the consequenses is the best thing he did there, as he damn well should. Agreed, I found it odd that we didnt at least TRY to patch in to Cital and ask what was going on Mars, so not even going to try and defend that one. Crow knew the stakes and what the Psion was doing multipule times over, and yet did it anyway, almost causing the treaty to be broken with the potential death of the Cabal Empress. Saladman wanted far worse for the Hive, and yet what the Cabal did was rather tame. It was contained. The thought; 'dont touch what you dont understand' springs to mind here...

How is finding out how the hive got the light so the cabal can without redoing Ghauls mistake a better and more stable motive? Also, what is the reasoning and justification for what was being done? “To gain Intel of their plans?” The moon is the first guess. It’s the only hive stronghold in the system (barring the ship near Saturn) and the Scarlet Keep was manipulated by Savvy herself. And for people that wouldn’t or didn’t guess that….why not? They hav been trying to turn it into a warmoon for years. And has been the site of many guardian losses. Of COURSE manipulated hive lightbarers would shoot for that target, no need to compromise ideals. Plus…..who’s idea was it again to do the psychic stuff? OH that’s right, Ciatals. Not Saladin, not Zhava. Ciatals. Again…..what’s the angle she has? (Plus Zavala was semi distracted with TWQ campaign too, so his head is a bit heavy.) Does that justify Crow’s actions to not deal with the consequences? Nope. Just like Saladin said “Learn this lesson. Just because your right morally, doesn’t absolve you from dealing/paying for the consequences of the actions. Someone ALWAYS has to pay.” That goes both ways, once we start perverting the ideals, who pays? IMO, Crow still has to pay for his choice. In hard work in learning that lesson. The idiot crowd of “kill him, yet him off.” are completely foolish and ignorant. (Actually might just be so emotionally lead they have completely disconnected their logical thinking aspects of their brain.) And I can guarantee would want a chance after they freaked up. Most everyone changes their tune, once they are on the short end of the stick of suffering and at the mercy of someone else. Now we shall see how the Bungie writers either do the characters justification or freak it up themselves rofl 🤣
