49 AntwortenBearbeitet von KannibalKlown: 3/17/2022 1:59:54 AMYeh. Shame on him. Trying to stop the torture of pows, after he’s experienced similar torture. So he pressed the emergency failsafe shutoff button. Which for some reason kills the user. That doesn’t seem like such a useful feature. Did he go against the rules? Sure. In real life would be he sent to prison for manslaughter, dereliction, and possibly treason!? Perhaps. But Uldren of old would have shrugged off killing someone as a consequence. Crow was horrified at what happened and was willing to die in penance. Considering we, the “hero” just walked up to an ally cabal facility and killed everyone in sight without trying to talk it out, because they were between us and Savuthuns ship. And not only did we not show remorse, we got a slap on the wrist. I’d say he gets some kind of pass.

Bearbeitet von Avid_Coffee_Drinker: 3/18/2022 2:23:39 AMIn a story built on the premise of defending humanity from bad guys, it’s always a pain to watch the experienced protector pay for the actions of the naive pacifist. I was really hoping that Crow/Uldren would have surfaced by now, cuz “I’m only gonna talk in a soft voice because talking normal is too violent” Crow is getting old fast.

1 AntwortenWell he has a ghost, he would just be revived. But I agree with what you sayin'.

1 AntwortenI’d pay silver!! Hear that Bungie??? I’d pay silver for the ability to chuck crow off the tower and watch till he went splat… Say 1000 silver per toss.

6 AntwortenAbsolutely agree. He “AcCiDeNtAlLy” killed the psion because he thought the hive were in pain. Bruh, literally everyone was saying “Even though the hive are monsters, they’re on absolutely painless life support.” And you know what crow goes on to do? Shuts off the life support, not only killing the psion but the hive as well! So in short, the emissary is dead, the lightbearer hive are dead and we have no information. Outstanding work, bud. Listen, I love crow, but this is hecking SCTOOPID.

26 AntwortenOh for everyone saying that crow almost mess up the cabal/guardian alliance That's false....he was ready to pay for his mistake ...Zavala the 1 that almost screw it up and that's why Saladin did what he did
-
11 AntwortenOh I hate what they are doing with him. I liked him at first but Bungie have ruined his character. I also can’t shake the feeling Crow has just become a mere vessel through which Bungie can sprinkle their meaningless political views into the game. God,people have been exiled from the city for saying some weird things. He went and jeopardised an entire coalition, and if anyone has read the lore page which describes what that psion went through when crow turned the systems off… god that was just horrible what he did to that psion.

2 AntwortenYa know, at one point I was kinda on his side, and I was very much frowny-face at anyone who was saying bad thing about him.. But now? We'll, he's being a full on... teenager 🤪 Yeah. Wise up or back to the woods with yer comb over 😅

5 AntwortenEveryone is pretty hot about crow. He ducked up hard and in a dorky way. Saladin shared grade A advice and stories and he just disregarded them. I dislike crow because he is basically what most people today are; obnoxious, entitled, self righteous, and emotionally unstable. He doesn't use logic or commonsense but emotions. I don't know how the cabal have it in them to deal with us. We violated the alliance in so many ways with no consequences, the troops are going question Caital's authority.
-
7 AntwortenThe crow is only one that is being reasonable right now. Testing on a species isn't the way a guardian would do it. Neither is killing a queen that is trying to save the thing you swore to protect
-
43 AntwortenWhy because he made a moral decision to end the torture of sapient beings, and when this lead to an unintended death, he was prepared to face the consequences for his actions? Cayde probably would have done the same thing if he were faced with it as a young guardian. The problem the Vanguard had with Cayde was that he didn't democratize things, if something was right, he did it, if something needed to get done, it got done. They needed a transmat zone on the dreadnought and he got it done.

1 AntwortenBearbeitet von Nox Lumina: 3/18/2022 11:32:18 AMCrow and The Guardian are the exact same. "Disobey at every given opportunity, ESPECIALLY if it's Zavala's orders". It's just that the results are different.

13 AntwortenIf he had killed the Psion in an effort to turn off the machine I’d agree to an extent. Except he didn’t, the death of the Psion was entirely accidental because Crow didn’t consider that the machine would backfire upon being shut off. Now I see this as a necessary development, because with the Cabal and Eliksni Crow’s good nature has payed off. He had to learn that his actions, while moral from his perspective, can have real consequences for himself and those around him. All on the road to Hunter Vanguard baby.

30 AntwortenWow this topic is full of peoples thinking they are so cool and don't understand anything about the crow story😂 Ah the forum....never change

Idk I don't think this is nearly as bad as people are saying. Crow is in a spot where he's fighting really hard not to be Uldren. He saw himself in the Hive because, like Uldren, they were manipulated and lied to in order to get them to perform atrocities. As far as he knew, shutting off the psychic torture chamber would have just ended the hive's suffering and nothing else. At this point in the operation, the lucent hive's ritual was about to be stopped and so the psiorium no longer served a purpose. Obviously his actions were a mistake. I know it, you know it, crow knows it and bungie knows it. Nobody is trying to say Crow inadvertently killing a cabal emissary was the right thing to do. This was why he was willing to give up his own life without a fight. I honestly think the community is jumping the gun here. We're at the point in his arc where he -blam!- up, we've yet to see what he's learned from this mistake and how he'll act moving forward. I hope bungie doesnt take the community's backlash to heart and stops making complex characters that aren't perfect. Crow has a lot of room to grow and I'm excited to see where his story goes.

I don't know what agitates me more. Crow, or the fact that we have to seemingly wait 2 months to see how this plays out. Big buzzkill of an ending if you ask me.
-
Clearly you're not paying attention. Crow IS Uldren right now, he's just not simping for his manipulative sister. Instead, he's trying too hard to rectify his past acts as Uldren.
