I have been banned multiple times for connection issues. I live in rural Canada and I have no options for better internet then what I currently have. It seems unfair and unjust to ban me again for not having access to ‘good’ internet. The money I have spent on expansions over the years and have been playing for thousands of hours since day 1 is wrong to take away. BUNGIE should have a disclaimer when you buy this game saying if you don’t have a certain internet speed don’t play. Please stop banning me. I’m not asking for money or compensation, I’m just asking to play your game uninterrupted. Playing destiny with my friends is a huge part of my life.

Bearbeitet von BraddyBo: 3/15/2022 3:07:34 AMDue to no dedicated servers, the requirement of needing consistently stable internet is damage control. Hopefully bungie adds dedicated servers at some point so they can lift this requirement. If your internet plan is at least 10/1 mbps then with you can most likely fine tune your router to allow you to play without issues.

They do warn you. It’s on the product description in every single official store you can buy the game on. And tbh it’s common sense that you need decent internet to play a game that needs to be online at all times to play. You really don’t even need anything special. I’ve played destiny with a 10 down 3 up connection and it ran without issues. So if your using the stock isp provided hardware replace that junk right away. That could solve the issue alone. And if not monitor what is using up bandwidth and see if you can turn those off when playing. And if none of that works, do yourself a favor and don’t buy anymore destiny 2 content until you can have it fixed. Your just gonna get angry and feel like your wasting money. You admit that it’s your internet that’s the issue so there’s really nothing Bungie can do for you.

D2 uses P2P for PvP so your unstable internet negatively affects the experience for other players. There is a minimum internet speed for this game, but stability is also a factor.
