Like for real. It's the first week after contest mode and the biggest D2 LFG discord on a friday night and during the day on saturday is completely dead. Almost as dead as the garden LFG was 2 years after it came out.
So what do the elitists say now? Mechanic heavy raids for the regular player are the way to go? I guess not. Never seen less interest in a raid in D2 anymore since year 1. Usually you can't copy the join code fast enough from LFG posts because of the post spam during the first 4-5 weeks of a new raid, this time theres like 1 post every 2 minutes LOL.
This one turned off soo many players with its constant time crunches, different specific roles, wipe mechanics on anything, 27 symbols with different callouts from every group.
This is just not the right community for raids like this. And i stand by that. Catering to content creators ruins this game.

14 AntwortenBearbeitet von tom: 3/13/2022 1:06:59 AMI mean, in your opinion, what is the correct balance then? I enjoy mechanic heavy raids as it really shows who is paying attention and who are the people who usually call dibs on add clear every chance they can. We haven't had a mechanic heavy encounter, in my opinion of course, since Val Ca'our in Spire of Stars. Mechanic difficulty is much better than artificial difficulty like we have in a Grandmaster Nightfall for example, plus being more rewarding upon completion. Secondly, where do you look for LFG raids? I've had zero issues finding fresh or checkpoint raids to complete. Are you in an active clan? If not, would you like an invite to one? We are nearly at capacity but we raid almost every night and would love to welcome someone looking to get raids done. For example, we had 7 Day 1 raid teams competing. Feel free to message me if you have any questions and good luck!

So you basically want a suuuuuper long strike that just requires you to go *pew pew* and complete it, well they already made something like that its called a grand master nightfall. There's guides in youtube, good guides, but you don't want to put any work into it, now if you're going to claim that you're the guy that puts in the work and prepares for it and KwTd there's something called a "Learning curve" not everyone can learn mechanics as fast as you want them to, it takes repetition and practice, if this is your logic then the only elitist in here is you and if you just like to go *pew pew*, put a little work into it, learn mechanics and maybe help out others that need to learn the raid. P.S.: now I know what you might be thinking and no hell no, I'm not an elitist or a pro, just a regular, sure raids that just require you to "ad clear" might be easier but you learn nothing from them and you end up getting carried all the time and become dead weight, anyone can ad clear. I'm in a sherpa discord, but I always watch guides thoroughly so that I'm actually helpful an not a nuisance even if its a sherpa.

Hilarious to see that people rather cry here and call anyone saying the raid is fun and not hard a "bungie shill" instead of learning the mechanics. The time they spent here could be used for a few clears but hey, they gotta complain they can't add clear their way into raid loot

3 AntwortenCan't agree more -blam!- ridiculous
-
Lmao it's not that hard.. it's a really easy raid.. instead of looking to join posts.. make your own. I can't speak for the discord server you're apart of but I see hundreds of posts for the new raid everytime I'm looking
-
1 AntwortenI have no problem at all finding a team through the app fireteam finder. As we speak there are 20 new posts for VoD only. But here i am expecting better from a man who thinks this raid is “mechanically heavy”.

People wanted more participation than just stand here, point there and shoot that (even though D1 raids were merciless on challenge mode) so things like Leviathan happened. If stand-point-shoot is more your speed that’s what the made Menagerie for. Raiding is endgame. It requires attention, communication and mechanic focus. Otherwise it would just be a loot piñata.

One look at the lfg page shows it’s very active. Also I am sure there are tons of people on Reddit or discord who are looking too. Yes there’s elitists and asses but there are also chill people who will be ok with you learning.

1 Antworten1500 posts at any given time on Xbox D2 lfg. This has been consistent for the past week and it was over 2600 on day one. Even if the Xbox LFG includes posts for all activities, I have actively used it for the past week and it has been at minimum 60% raid posts. Just because you suck at the raid doesn’t mean everyone else does.

6 AntwortenIt definitely seems like a complicated raid. I haven’t hopped into it yet. I’d like to get a few completions eventually but I don’t feel any urge to do it. The armor is wack. There’s a few cool looking pieces but overall I think they’re ugly. The weapons look cool.
-
I genuinely enjoyed the raid
-
I’m inclined to disagree.
-
There were 61 posts in the last minute when I wrote this, I wouldn't call that dead. Is the raid rough to teach? Yes. But it's still fun.
-
Its not even as bad as previous raids tho.... But ok.

42 AntwortenCampaign legendary was challenging and fun. No champions, puzzles, or 10 steps mechanics. Tons of people playing that. Bungie, it's not rocket science. Datto, slayerage, etc don't represent us.

Its the rewards not the mechanics.

13 posts in d2 lfg discord in the past minute. what lfg are you looking at? I would get it it you’re looking on like stadia lfg or something.
-
2 AntwortenUse the app for lfg instead of discord. Way more people on there. Raid is pretty fun from what I’ve played so far. I’ve been runner and defense on the Acquisition encounter and I’ve only done glyphs for caretaker. I’ve run all three relics for exhibition but I haven’t had a go at Rhulk yet. Pretty enjoyable for me.
-
Went to look, there's an absolute ton all being posted now. Maybe you just looked at a dumb time?
-
5 AntwortenEveryone is toxic in lfg with kwtd have 10 clears so on and so on the raids been out a week. It shows you how toxic most of the players are that raid they don’t won’t to teach. However they had to learn it too. So that’s pretty much why no one joins LFG imo. Luckily I have a clan with some good players that can teach and are just awesome about it. These people on there high horses need to look back and remember the more people that learn the mechanics the more people that will eventually teach it. So hang in there after a few weeks people will be posting for players that have not completed the raid. To get there triumph for Carrie’s good luck.

1 AntwortenWhile the boss room is great with a boss that actually moves and doesn't just slam the ground. The rest of the raid is just big to be big and doing the same remember 2 symbols and shoot a wall or obelisk mechanic. More tedious then mechanic heavy I'd say. I can just imagine lfg. Haha
-
The raid location is awesome. But it's definitely not the most "fun" raid. None of the encounters feel like they have great replay value. It's going to get old fast.
-
Oh, I see your Problem....you didn't check other LFG's.
-
4 AntwortenI am an elitist, but I haven’t done the raid yet.
-
After contest, the raid is too easy and forgiving. Rhulk only has 1 wipe mechanic and that is if you fail at dunking symbols twice All other encounters is ad clear which should be easy for casual players.

The bungie.net lfg is popping off
