Harmonic and Kenetic mods for orb Generation are just no good. Harmonic is only for matching subclass and it's 1 energy while Kenetic is 3. Then the other subclass mods and super are 3.
How about just one mod that covers everything and make it 2.
This is why no one wanted a mod in the first place, master working weapons will now be a thing of the past. The old system wasn't broken , it just needed to have exotics create orbs. But instead we get this mod garbage.

Would be nice if they kept the mods the way they are but let your weapon master work “path” dictate if something dropped orbs, wells(matching subclass) or cells. Could even add it to crafting just as a test run to see how well it’s received.

1 AntwortenBungie knew that nobody would like it and did it this way on purpose. Then there’s the fact that since they are helmet mods, they would be taking up the space/energy we would use for ammo finder mods. I’ve said it plenty of times before and I’ll say it again. Bungie nowadays is like the Cable Company from South Park. Bumming us out and screwing us over gets them off.

2 AntwortenThey changed it so they can tighten the reins on super generation under this new tier system. And because crafted weapons cannot be 'masterworked' so they didn't want other legendaries yo outshine them purely on orb gen potential. And for exotics without catalysts because they just won't make a catalyst for every exotic. Lazy as usual. Anti-Player as usual.

My biggest gripe about well mods is I feel forced to match everything to an element otherwise I'm not getting the full benefits of wells, so I can't run fatebringer/salvager's/gally on voidwalker without feeling like I'm handicapped. Other than that well mods are pretty good I just like to be diverse.

I tried to welcome the change, now I need 4 different helmet with similar stats to use energy primaries. Its pretty -blam!- stupid

When you create such a specific way to use mods or play, it destroys any ability of freedom and cuts the ability to be diverse or versatile completely off.

We grind for literal days for a single weapon to drop with this new Deep Sight Resonance (multiple times per weapon I'll add...) so that we can "craft" these new weapons, using resources we didn't want/need so that we can't even masterwork the weapons we craft. Which, ill add the main reason was for Orb generation, but now it's just muddy. Not enough options for a limited pool of patterns, not enough variety in the ways to generate orbs/wells, and too grindy for what it's worth. I'm literally bashing my head against my TV praying for the wellspring to drop a God Forsaken deepsight weapon just to craft these specific weapons that might actually make sense in my build, because I, like an idiot, listened to Bungie and believed that there would be a new arsenal to create with the launch of TWQ. I also feel bad for the New Lights who bought the expansion thinking there was this massive overhaul and the game was made new again.... it wasn't. They -blam!- in a paper bag and called it lunch. Also, -blam!- Rahool Edit: Story is pretty good but your Loot system is -blam!-!

You know really sucks? The mods. Being coded into the game. Bungie made a whole monologue months ago about how they can’t get rid of things like mods because they are coded into the blah blah blah. Just retire things or change them. Soooo unless they change them, they will now ALWAYS be part of the game according that whole post they put out a long time ago. If they do somehow remove them (not retire)… -blam!- what BS they spin to the player base as lies!

Actually i like the mods. But you know whats better ? Having options, like having both the mod to generate orbs and the masterwork. So i dont have to masterwok my weapons to generate orbs. Also i dont have to equip a mod in order to generate orbs. Just make it so both arent possible to cumulate and you have more build diversity.

They need to put it on the sparrow. Just need to do a sparrow 3.0 to be able to add mods to it.
