Nightfall weapons are non existent
So I have done today at least 15 nightfalls...
11 of them back to back hero's.
2 were legend difficulties as we missed the 100k by 70 points XD.
Anywho, last season when hunting hung jury ect if I was to have done 15 nightfalls of various difficulties, I would have gotten at LEAST 5 drops.
Yet this new DLC all last week and this week I have revived nothing.
Its almost like the drop chance has been lowered a lot, almost like the deepsight varients of the wellspring weapons.
Is this a issue for anyone else or is RNJESUS being a massive c*nt?

The chances of any NF weapon dropping during a Hero NF is about the same as winning the lottery in my experience. If you want a guaranteed crack at it, you gotta run GMNF's - no easy way around it. That or keep grinding out the lower tier NF's and hope the RNG gods smile upon you

Although those numbers are still quite low - I managed over 100 nightfall runs without a single weapon drop last season 😭🤣 not even exaggerating - spent a couple days grinding lake of shadows on heroic and legendary. (btw When I posted about it people said I was complaining about nothing and unless I ran it on GM difficulty I shouldn't be getting nightfall weapons anyway, and drop rates were working as intended. I'm happy with the weapons being guaranteed only on the highest difficulty but I don't think it should be absolutely pointless to run the lower levels, it should just take more time/runs. But perhaps not 100 😅)

Exactly may as well take out the regular guns and keep the adept ones, have had one drop in months.

Of course the drops are crap, they want you to do GMs only for guaranteed drops. I mean people that can great but those that can't have to suffer or grind more.

I'd estimate on average it's around 1 in 10 NFs. That's to get a single instance. That's to get a non-Adept version. When the streamers did complain and because they have easy access to other full-time players so only concern themselves with GMs, their drop rate was increased to 100%. Guaranteed drop each run. For Adept versions. Chalk and cheese difference that matchmaking activities got left far, far behind. For matchmaking it's simply not worth every trying for NF weapons. Ever. Same with weekly WQ missions. Simply not remotely worth the time and effort to get such few rewards. Same with Legendary Campaign just to get now irrelevant Blue Engrams and a handful of upgrade resources.

I’m not complaining as I always want the adept anyway but just for reference: I reset my vanguard twice in order to get the shotgun and ornament. I did 3 strikes the first week and then the rest has all been 1320 arms dealer. I got 3 snipers and maybe gold rewards 2-3 times in total with the rest platinum. I’m not angry as I feel they drop on the higher difficulties (and gms) all the time but that’s the drop rate I got.

It’s this thing called RNG bud. I literally just did my first nightfall of the week. It was level 1520, got the sniper and an exotic upon completion.

I know this is a bit late, but does anyone feel like they nerfed the Prosperity Ghost mod? I've noticed throughout Season of the Lost there just seemed to be a lot less legendary drops at the end of strikes for me, and I ran the mod the entire season.

RNG gonna RNG Wouldn't worry too much about hard farming guns until people can run Master, and eventually Grandmaster

9 AntwortenIf you aren’t farming master or GM don’t expect any nightfall weapon drops. From my personal experience. I just wait till GMs come out anyway to start farming the new nightfall drops.

I got one after maybe 20 Nightfalls but i deleted it as it was crap like always!
