With orb generation moved to helmet mods, the amount of resources required to masterwork a weapon, just for it to have +10 stats in exactly one category, is far too high.
Either make masterworked weapons do something extra cool, or reduce the crap out of the cost. One or the other. I don't care which.

Anybody saying to them selves +1 range isn't enough but +10 is just too much range, but +7, +7 is the perfect amount of range? Just enough range but not too much range??? Besides it be good to see the actual full price X to 10 in one step instead of having to do the math adding up the price step by step Plus it's pretty annoying when you get to 6 and the button shifts out from under your cursor. Lol I mainly master work for the yellow boarder, helps me identify 'keepers' easily lol
