I hear ya! I have a God rolled messe-blam!- with kill clip and I’m outgunned even one on one battles against timelost- adept Fatebri-blam!-, Palindrome, igneous hammer etc… the reason is besides being adept or timelost is from range hand canon players can jump all over and aim in your direction they hit all crits because the hitbox for hc’s is the entire upper body and way outside all count as crit shots meanwhile try hitting two or three headshots while they’re jumping all over with your pulse. It’s a bunch of bs. Hand canons are way too easy to use and take little skill. Bungie should shrink the hitbox down to the head so they actually have to aim and have skill to get kills with hand canons. All these dump players get on here and say hand canons are terrible outside 30m are clueless. All you have to do is get on YouTube and watch some vids of dudes 3 tapping on widows court or the fortress way outside 30meters. Theres also more usable hand canons than pulses, autos and scouts combined. I don’t understand why Bungie nerfs weapons that aren’t even a problem but they don’t do anything about how stupidly op and easy to use hand canons and shotguns are. At this point I don’t even understand the point of having any other weapons in pvp besides hand canons and shotguns. I mean take a player who loves a scout or auto then he gets on and plays pvp and gets sh*t on by a bunch of tools running Eyasluna/Felwinters. Makes the player feel like crap and never wants to play pvp again. Bungie is literally ruining their own game by listening to a bunch of crybaby tools only wanting to use hand canons and shotguns. Bastion was great at stopping shotgun rushers and shutting down supers. Shotgun tools get on here and cry nerf so Bungie nerfs Bastion. Now there’s only 1 or 2 weapons that are ok at stopping shotty rushers. At least half the time I pop Dawnblade I immediately get one tapped by Felwinters or Chaperone and Bungies ok with that??? Whoever is in charge of the PvP meta at Bungie should be fired and replaced with someone with balls!
