Isn't he supposed to be a great warrior?
He got his butt kicked up until the last part. Sure, that was impressive but there isn't really much excuse other than the first part, when he just escaped the Sarlacc (however you spell it) and was injured.

1 AntwortenI never read any of those fan fiction comics or books so as far as I care he's just some guy made to look cool and sell toys.

2 Antworten
Isn't he supposed to be a great warrior?
You mean the guy that got bested by a blind man and screamed like child before going splat and tumbling into the maw of some sandworm? That "great warrior"? 😂

1 AntwortenKinda weird they make an alternative Bounty Hunter show on the side of Mandalorian. Would've expected Disney to be all for variety.

1 AntwortenHe’s surrounded by a bunch of dudes with pokey sticks, he has a jet pack and a gun…. He proceeds to shoot himself in the face with a rocket and punch the dudes.

11 AntwortenAre people forgetting what Boba actually did in the original movies? He had like one brief conversation with Darth Vader, then one movie later he gets bich slapped by Luke and eaten by sandworm less than 30 minutes in. I wouldn't describe him as much of a "great warrior".

7 AntwortenHe is super old

3 AntwortenMy guess is he has to keep being put into Bacta due to acid-burns messing him up, We never saw him use a Bacta tank in Mandalorian but he was probably routinely using one to keep repairing his body.

1 AntwortenIt’s just the first episode, let’s finish the season first.

5 AntwortenI don’t think it’s to do with him being old, because he was about 10ish when Geonosis happened. the Clone Wars lasted about...5 years??(You can Check me on that) The Galactic Empire lasted 30 years, and The Mandolorian is 6 months after Endor/The Death Star II, so he’s only about 45 or so. My dad can still lift 100+ pieces of firewood, and he isn’t a master bounty hunter. So it isn’t age. So I think it’s the Sarlacc and the desert.

I think they are going to reveal some very complicated issues from the sarlacc

5 AntwortenAll the fights made sense until the last one. But they were outnumbered and the enemy had the element of surprise. In addition they weren’t armored all the way, but they still won. He is really strong, but that doesn’t mean every fight comes easily victorious. He also downs multiple of the guys

1 AntwortenI thought it was okay, but I'm not 100% sold on it yet. At the moment, it's not different enough from the Mandalorian, so it runs the risk of generating franchise fatigue instead of standing on its own merit. I'm also not digging the current direction for the character. He proudly boasts about being the new Crime boss of Mos Espa, but refuses to get his hands dirty, which sends mixed signals. Right now, the characterneeds to project strength, and ruthlessness, in order to establish that he's different to Mando.

3 AntwortenMy guess is it's because he's very old. Not in his prime anymore. He may also still have some lingering issues after being in the sarlacc pit.
-
3 AntwortenYeah, I didn’t like that. I’m pretty sure he beat Vader in a fight in canon comics.

1 AntwortenThe only loss that didn’t make sense to me was the one after he exited the cantina. With the shield guys. The other ones made sense. He just escaped a sarlac Pitt and then walked across the desert with little to no water. There was no way he was well nourished or well rested enough to fight anyone.
