Since leaving Activision Bungie has been late on every season. They cannot maintain the game. They sure do not listen to community feedback. I know this is more to do with management and serious consideration should be taken to keep these upper lever positions. I know some it is time for them to leave

Totally disagree. Everyone can always do better but IMO, they do pretty well trying to keep this game as fresh as possible. Not like its been around for 7 years… oh wait, yes it has.

4 AntwortenI mean it's not like there was a global pandemic that kicked Bungie out of their studio that could have possibly delayed a live service game. Also, if Bungie wants to take more time to create content instead of pushing out mediocre content on a timetable set by a higher-up company, I think they are well within their right to do so.

Bearbeitet von Saint: 12/3/2021 5:58:40 PMSo, can you tell us how to maintain a game as complex as destiny 2? Please do since you seem to know how bungie, in their expertise from 30 years ok making games, cannot seem to maintain it themselves
git gud
Or perhaps its time for you to leave

12 AntwortenBungie: *reverts sunsetting, lowers ability spam in pvp, bringing raid rotations and subclass reworks in Y5* People on the forums: Bungie never listens to community feedback.

I love how you kids always focus on the bads and completely ignore all the goods while shutting down anyone who brings up the goods. Like, what is the point of your post if you just refuse to accept any facts that deter your argument?

4 AntwortenIf Bungie is the definition of failure, I really wouldn’t mind being a failure lmao.
-
1 AntwortenA 30 year old company that is profitable. Wish I was this much of a failure.

Literally none of what you said actually happened. Actually literally none of it.

Can’t say failure if they’ve stuck around this long but I can honestly say the my NEED to end it after witch queen they’ve shown the can get flooded with money and still can’t manage. If D2 was just to large at launch or was going to be to large to manage later, that is their fault. If u release 1 character type who completely break balancing, yet again it’s their fault. The Game a lot of times is great but like too many things in the world mismanagement ruined what should’ve been fun. Funny enough is all D1 players should’ve saw this coming from the last update in rise of iron. One class rules them all and one gun could out shoot everything, the palindrome titans. Too many years of bad management

Better to have a late season with little to no bugs then to get it on time and have it be unplayable. Same goes for the witch queen delay: better to have a long boring season and a good dlc than a normal season and a mediocre dlc The community asked for changes to one hit kill abilities, and what did Bungie do? Announced the changes. People asked for vex to be nerfed. Guess what? It’s getting nerfed. Ask for Freelance trials, get freelance trials. Bungie usually does their big fixes (usually requests by the community) in one update.

Take it from someone who's played since destiny 1 beta, this used to be my favorite game I have bought so much destiny merch but I'm telling you as a human that destiny doesn't get better. You will never get listened to by Bungie. They don't care not anymore anyway, if they did they'd listen to the people who pay their bills as players. I quit, I will miss destiny but the destiny I knew died 4 years ago!

1 AntwortenLeaving Activision was the best thing Bungie did. Blizzard should have followed. 🤷 Oh well, Guess Activision is getting the cold shoulder and might go into bankruptcy if Microsoft,Sony Entertainment, Nintendo reject Activision Titles. F### Activision!
-
3 AntwortenThe reason they don't "listen" to the community, is because 90% of the forum posts are children or men complaining about PVP and how things are soooo broken because they lost a trials match. That's why

Bearbeitet von TheArtist: 11/30/2021 6:36:18 PMReally? Its time for them to leave based on what, exactly. Lets look at what has happened to Activision since Bungie left? 1. Actvision's stock price is down almost $20 a share in the 2.5 years since Bungie left. 2. Activision got sued by the State of California for discriminatory workplace practices. The scandal is constantly in the news, and has gone all the way to the highest levels of the company. 3. There have been repeated walkouts by employees in protest, and constant leaks to the media that the problems are worse and run deeper than Activision Blizzard executives are willing to admit. 4. World of Warcraft is supposedly hemorrhaging players to other MMOs. OTOH.... Bungie has: 1. Nearly doubled the size of the game's player base. 2. Bungie has been nominated---for the second time---for "Best Community Support" 3. Bungie made the base game FTP, and purchase of DLCs and Season Passes OPTIONAL (whereas Activision made you buy EVERY scrap of content in order to keep playing the game). 4. Bungie has announced a corporate expansion plan that is valued in the billions, and are aggressively expanding (hiring) despite the slowdown in the economy due to Covid. 5. Bungie delays content that they feel won't be ready, rather than rushing it to market to maximize profits like Activision does. Bungie delayed the release of Beyond Light a few weeks, and The Witch Queen for 6 months. (Which most of the industry has done with major releases because of the pandemic) Other than that, Bungie has hit EVERY scheduled release date for content. In short, they have OUTPERFORMED the rest of the industry in this area. Including Activision. Frankly, if Activision and Bungie got divorced? Bungie got the house, and the kids....and is showing that Living-Well-Is-The-Best-Revenge...... ....while Activision seems to be the partner whose life is coming unraveled at the moment.

i tell you a secret, destiny 2 is a good game, with some problems but a good game
They sure do not listen to community feedback.
please tell me you don't think these forums are the 'community'. lol

8 AntwortenAnd yet, people, such as yourself, continue to play this game daily. Sounds like whatever they’re doing, it’s working because players keep coming back to play.
-
3 AntwortenI'd rather the game come out in decent condition, compared to GTA, 2042, division 1, and some of the other destiny killers...

Meanwhile, in reality....

Failure? No Too slow to make needed changes/additions? Yes Often disapointing? Yes
