Just came back to Destiny after like 10 months off and apparently invis hunters appear on radar in crucible now? Bosses will also stomp you in PvE while invis.
Is this a bug or an intentional change? If the latter, I don’t understand. Tether is already the most useless PvP super in the game and the grenades are all terrible compared to every other class in the game. Barely anyone plays on top-tree (main invis tree) for that reason. Was this really a class we needed to further nerf into the ground? LOL!
Also, whether you hate invis or not, let’s just acknowledge how stupid it is that you’re now on radar while INVISIBLE, yet if you crouch, you fall off radar. For real? Space magic to turn invisible vs. bending your knees on any class… bending your knees wins? 🤣🤣🤣

3 AntwortenAFAIK you only ping radar when you double jump and sprint. Sprinting only pings once from where you started sprint, after that you’re off radar again. Crouching before invis breaks will leave you off radar for an additional 15 seconds. You’re free to crouch walk around too undetected, shooting will ping and now you’ll be at the standard ping every 2 seconds. I use Geminis a lot in PvP because it allows you to make plays. Strip their radar, go invis now you can sprint and double jump because they have no radar to rely on. Misdirection last as long as your invis does. I could be wrong, but last time I checked that’s how invis worked.

Think your only on radar when your sprinting or jumping. You can still dupe the radar by sliding though if you need to cover ground fast.
-
starting to jump, being within the smaller reader circle and double jumping all reveal invisibility on radar

1 AntwortenWith me, Invis Hunters are Loud! And with my Headphones I can actually pinpoint which way they are coming. I'm very much old fashion. Sight and Sound.

You can see them walk without a radar, wel i can (not that that is so special ;o)

4 AntwortenIt’s a very good class WYM. Yea the super is actually dog meat. But enhanced radar, and radar pinging smokes gives it one of the stronger neutral games. Invis is also exceptionally strong on PC against MnK players who don’t have reticle friction and have to rely on their eyes more than feel. Also, invis only pings radar in certain situations and can still be abused for short and fast flanks.

3 AntwortenI play top tree nightstalker. My take is not to rely in the invis being invisible. I think we do go off radar for a short period of time, and also don't use the "ability" jump, I'm pretty sure that pings the radar. The super is below average in PvP. It is very slow to activate and I trade with roaming supers quite often.

2 AntwortenI agree invis is rather meh. Not bad by any means but we should all agree... Tether is the absolute worst.
-
1 AntwortenUnfortunately, you're just misinformed.
-
was like that from the start, if you are close to the enemy or you use jump ability radar will work
-
Invis really should just remove you from radar
-
3 AntwortenIf you jump or after 5 secs, you will show on radar

There’s been nerfs to invis in the past that affected how many things cause a blip, but it’s been a long time since anything was touched.

4 AntwortenGood. As they should be! No point in Radar if people can hide on it by not moving, crouching, or stupid smoke.
-
4 AntwortenSince Destiny 1, invisible players and NPC's have blinked on the radar. Nothing has changed.

Tested it in a private match. The invis hunter does appear on radar.
