I think it’s hilarious that he’s disliked even within the forums most well known for criticizing bungie. No one likes a guy who does an annoying voice to imitate people who disagree with him.
-
He's very annoying and literally complains about everything to the point where its comical. The last person id take an opinion from.

5 AntwortenNot gonna watch the video because joker is obnoxious af. But he's probably complaining about the dungeon thing, and he's probably right
-
I dislike the YouTuber personally.

Ew. Joker. No.
-
I can’t stand him. He makes good points. And then ruins the whole video when he does his “BUT JOKER” it’s annoying

3 Antwortenpls just let this game die games could be so much better if y'all stopped financially supporting people that intentionally give you LESS

16 AntwortenStupid video. Don't like it, don't buy it. It's very simple. A business is not going to stop milking a highly successful cash cow. Crying and whining won't stop it for sure. See you all in Feb.

10 AntwortenBearbeitet von Toots238857: 10/26/2021 12:26:15 PMOnce people take a stand and stop contributing, things will change. As long as people keep defending this behavior, along with "New Light" players never experiencing the content, this wont stop. FoMO is real as well. $30 for "Anniversary Content", and then include G-Horn for enticement. And I bet G-horm ships OP just to "sell" the content. (That will probably be nerfed after) I'd rather punch an exploding thrall with gasoline drawers on.

3 Antwortenbah not going to watch the forum simulator of youtube ,

9 AntwortenI agree that making people pay more LATER is bad, in principle. Definitely a FOMO tactic. I'm not really arguing FOR Bungie here. I am a solid opponent of sunsetting and the DCV. The only things I take issue with is the idea that they be included in seasons. They've never been included in seasons before. Prophecy was a one-off free dungeon (was likely intended to be released with Beyond Light before the delay but I don't think that was ever confirmed). Seasons have never offered endgame content as part of their purchase. Legacy reprised raids like vog and whatever is next year's raid will be free (unless they say otherwise later which I sincerely doubt). I don't understand how the creator of that video can argue we're getting less with witch queen when we haven't even seen the content yet (also, part of his argument against selling the dungeons separately is we don't know if the content will be worth it. We equally must assume it may be worth it if we're being honest about not knowing what's in the "mystery box". Given what happened with sunsetting, dcv and beyond light it's perfectly reasonable to doubt that proposition. However, since then, they've taken steps: new creative director, stopping sunsetting, hiring more hands to address the lack of loot caused by sunsetting, just to name a few. If seasons DID offer dungeons do you think they should only cost $10 bucks still, or should those particular seasons cost more since they have more content? End game content at that? They've never done a new raid/dungeon per season before. So I guess the question is, should the $80 version cost more so it's fair for those who buy later? Is it fair to only ask $10 per season for more content than they've ever delivered before? I don't know what the answer is or if you all have a better one. The only thing I can say in earnest is if this bothers you and I mean REALLY bothers you, if they don't change course, I suggest don't buy anything destiny 2 for a year. I wouldn't even buy the anniversary stuff. You can cry and scream about it until your face is blue and you may be justified in doing so. But their bottom line will be the only thing that speaks to them if you want them to listen. So you can either take a principled stand and vote with your dollar for however long it takes them to reverse course/change things to your liking OR consider what it is you're asking for here. If bungie is not entitled to ask for more money for more endgame content than they've ever asked for in a year, then what's the alternative model for distributing said content? I get why people may not want to pony up 80 bucks to not get charged later but should they just release them all for free? Should they have included no dungeons and just charged everyone equally later on? Plenty of people pointing out the problem but the solutions don't seem to be much better imo unless I've missed one here. Making this argument in good faith. Not a Bungie shill I promise. I've still not forgiven them for sunsetting my black armory and season of dawn weapons. I just want to know what the alternatives might be. Would rather argue for a solution than just against a problem.

1 AntwortenIF this move killed pre-sales it would end the practice. Now since it will have likely no impact is it really worth discussing? I am serious as can be. If they were ever made to pay for their predatory practices toward the consumer it would stop but since we all know that won't happen then why continue to discuss it?

Bungie's worse than Microsoft, Activision, Rockstar games and Bethesda combined! Bite me Bungie!

2 AntwortenThis should be required viewing before making any new purchase from Bungie. Very nicely done!

1 AntwortenBearbeitet von Kouz_MC: 10/26/2021 6:24:37 AMNever watched this YouTuber before. No one with a minimum IQ and honesty can disagree with anything he mentions. However the line has long been drawn between those who only play destiny and who will buy everything because of it being their life or only hobby, and those who play video games and whose gaming calendar is not dictated by Bungie’s cash flow expectations but their own rational decisions. Eventually Bungie is banking on the former, and cash cowing on both.

6 AntwortenThis guy has some decent takes. But I can't stand watching him due to his video format. Could we just have a video from him that critics Bungie without acting like an extremely sarcastic child? I just wanna enjoy my youtube video without this man screeching "bUt JokER". The joke isn't even funny.

1 AntwortenSo very accurate. But watch out, the mindless fanboy crowd will be at the defense!

Bearbeitet von waterpolo1: 10/26/2021 9:46:52 AMThings to do if you feel you are being ripped off: Vote with you wallet. If you Preordered, cancel it. Leave the game an let it die. You will have an easier time finding a new game to play than Bungie will making a new hit game. Bungie is not gonna change if people keep funneling money to them. If anything they will keep getting worse. Hurt their bottom line.

Cue Bungie defense squad……

3 AntwortenNice video, he's not wrong. This is becoming the standard for, well.. Bungie at least. If it would fail, i would not want to be in their shoes.. 😅 "Whats in the box" lol

2 AntwortenPlayed a ton of d2. Got my refund for anniversary edition and will not pre-order ANYTHING from this studio. It’s my money and I’d rather pay more later once I actually see what the wonderful people that still have us on p2p potato connection are ACTUALLY providing us for our money…. “No more secrets Martin”

9 AntwortenThis is exactly why I have not preordered. No transparency for what your buying. And the FOMO is not a cool sales tactic. I have 4 people to purchase this for, my kids and I, and I will not be buying it until they release information about what exactly is included in more detail.
