Why is it so hard for Bungie to give us brand new stuff? The Festival pulse is a returning D2 weapon.
Can we not get a new bloody weapon for an event?
I don't understand what the deal is with Bungie.
Lincoln Green was terrible in year 1, and it's going to be terrible now.
Give us some new weapons. This is so disappointing, time and time again.
Are they not capable of making new weapons or something?
And why only 1? We get 1 single weapon for a month long event?
It's always the absolute bare minimum with this company.

Because they lack the man power and the resources to produce new WEAPONS at the rate at which we consume them. Its why the caved on Sunsetting. Sunsetting weapons earlier in the year EXPOSED the fact that the game didn't have enough loot, and that Bungie couldn't keep up with pace needed to replace weapons that had been sunset. Joe Blackburn said earlier this year that Bungie is aggressively hiring new people to fil this void. But only time will tell if that will be enough to relieve the pressure.

20 AntwortenBro it’s an event, and a weapon. They got armor, emotes and sparrows. I don’t know why you expect them to go all out like it’s a paid event. It’s just ti change up the feeling, that’s it. Add some spice, give us some festivities, that’s it. Enjoy it for what it is. Half of these new weapons are old weapons with new models and sounds.

1 AntwortenI’m glad at least I get my Werewolf and Horror Story back . They have decent impact and pretty good range. As you know, The ones from 2018 & 2019 have been sunsetted. I should have 3 guns with decent rolls by 3 weeks.

3 AntwortenI don't really think that this is that much of an issue. No weapons were given at all during the Festival of the Lost in D1. It's also an entirely free event that doesn't REQUIRE any payment to enjoy. The fact that Bungie does these events at all is nice to have, not a necessity. Plus the coming year has more content than Destiny has had in a long time.

2 AntwortenIt's like a constipation. A constipation of ideas. For some reason creativity is probably being channeled to other projects. Ideas seems scarce and maybe saved for newer projects. The amount of re-skin is like a big billboard sign that says no creativity. That's why I took a break a couple years ago. Been playing since D1 launched nonstop. But when Activision left, game became stale and dry. Took a break a couple years ago and still haven't come back. Seems like game is not getting any better. It's a different game since then. I don't know when I'll be back. Who knows.

32 AntwortenBro, they’re literally giving u a 30 year anniversary event with a new dungeon, new thorny boy armor, returning guns plus ornaments. As well as the dawning with new ornaments. And moments of triumph. What more do u need? Bungie employees aren’t slaves.

10 AntwortenYup. Did 1 haunted sector, got that gun. Bored already, turned it off. This gun was 4, yes 4, vanilla D2 guns, 2 whites, a green, and Lincoln green. Exact same gun

In all honesty, with a quest called "Gone but Not Forgotten," being the opening quest, they really fumbled by giving us a reskinned pulse rifle instead of a reskinned Not Forgotten. Tsk tsk. But that's just me

Because the community praises them constantly for recycling and reissuing old content. My the F would they make new stuff. My favorite is when they release something broken and untested. Then they fix it and all the D riders come out praising them for fixing something they broke in the first place. I feel a large majority of people are so content with trash they praise mediocrity.

3 AntwortenLazy, entitled by content creators, slow drip content, lots of reasons. Bungie and destiny is a shell of itself m, had been for years now. D2 should've been dead a year or 2 ago instead we grind the same content for the same stuff with a new skin..we the crazy ones

Becase it has been in plain sight for 4 years now that has ruined the loot system in this game. [spoiler]Eververse, Seasons, and recycled D1 weapons.[/spoiler] They don't create new weapons that often because they can either get you to buy the old ones like Ghorn, buy the low-quality ones that really are not useful from the seasons, and recycle all the ones that have already been created in the last 4 years used as a filler for loot pools. Maybe if Bungie would stop making so much junk loot this might have not been an issue.
