hey guys, this is no way a complaining thread or anything slanderous. Im here to explain my feelings about Destiny 2 in its current state. Ive been a Bungie fan for many years, even competed in Halo 3 and Halo Reach professionally. Ive played Destiny for 7 years, ever since beta and have always loved the game, even through its ups and downs. in Destiny 2 specifically. I have had many breaks from the game. Destiny has amazing gunplay mechanics and movement systems, so much potential. We have had certain seasons were Destiny's PvP has really shined. However, the devs like to keep implementing abilities that break the natural flow of games, grant people insta-kills without much effort and even win entire games just from the sheer power of these abilities. Now... Any other AAA game title Developement team are dedicated to maintining a balance in their PvP. Bungie also used to be like that. i dont know if it was the Activision split for what but since Beyond light, balanced gameplay seems to be the last of their issues. We have been on a steady decline over the last year with the undeniable destruction of cheesey loadouts utilised in the game right now. its utter chaos. I have high stats in PvP, i only solo queue. Because of my stats the team regulation system laces me with the worst players. when you water down my K/D with 0.2's it seems like a fair fiht right? No. I get mercied almost everytime cos my team mates cant get kills. Im so passionate about this game. i love it to bits. However i truly think its time for me to part ways with this game and its horrible development team. I truly believe that everyone working for Bungie at this point are horridly under experienced or 0.2's themselves and they genuinely break the game for their own benefit. Lets be real, a dev can cheese a lot harder than us and i believe a lot of these things are left in game intentionally for their own benefit. There are a lot of people who love your game Bungie. A lot of people want to get better at your game, create careers out of your game. When the game is as chaotic as it is, you make it very hard to be a fan of your work. Im still gonna buy the new DLC cos thats how you rope us. Fake promises, heavily editied trailers, decent cosmetics. As you long as you get your money tho right? Finally after my rant i am gonna conclude. Im done with this game. year after year i give it a chance and get sorely disappointed. As a competitve gamer, playing is bad for my health. This game only rewards the brainded brand new players. All the Og's or active daily players... Eh you can go -blam!- yourself and do 100+ VoGs before you get mtyhoclast. Fix your game and i may return. Until then, kumbaya.
