So tired of Bungie not thinking about solo players going through content.
Edit for the trolls: Wanting to run the weekly story content solo is not equivalent to wanting to run “everything solo” … not close.

Imagine a multiplayer game being optimized for playing with other people. Who would have guessed!
-
Bring some friends
-
90% of the game can be done solo. And its a multiplayer game.
-
90% of this game is doable solo. I’m not sure what there is to complain about here.

3 AntwortenSolo raids wouldn't be raids so no thats not gonna happens and shouldn't. GM are meant for teams so no. If you want to solo it go ahead. Dungeons can easily be done solo, there you go. Trials can be solo there you go. Stop crying and find people to play with if you want endgame stuff. End game in any game requires teams for the hardest challenges. If you can't take that don't play the game go play a more casual game. The game is already catered way too much to casuals compared to D1 Id love to see you all play that and cry how hard and grindy it is. You'd last a day then cry because you didn't get a single legendary or decrypted exotics into blues. If you wanna raid find a team online or discord and stop crying.

31 AntwortenA ninja came in here and told me they are tired of solo players wanting to do the multiplayer content and get rewards… thanks Bungie for getting such quality people to ninja this forum. So the seasonal story is a multiplayer activity? The only way I can experience the story, and I’m told I’m being lazy to want to play alone? THANKS BUNGIE. Then the cowardly ninja deleted the attack… I wonder why?!? Run away child. Run away. The ninjas in here are elitist trolls.

2 AntwortenYou sound so entitled please just stop. It isn’t fair for everyone if solo players run everything and get everything the same as others running stuff in teams. This game is social really whether you like it or not the devs actually made trials accessible because solo players cried being unable to get on the app amd lfg a team.

6 AntwortenTeam based game having team based content and players being encouraged to play in a team? Not in my team based game.
-
6 AntwortenIt’s a social game. Don’t expect to be able to do all content as a solo player. Do a simple lfg or forget about playing the full game

1 AntwortenBearbeitet von Spicy Water: 10/8/2021 2:01:18 AMAs someone who played almost entirely solo up until a couple years ago, idk how so many people can have the mentality that because they can’t find on people to play with, Bungie needs to give solo players ways to obtain every single item in the game. Shockingly, no you do not need every single raid weapon, piece of dungeon gear, even trials loot, to enjoy the game, and just because you payed for a game (that is marketed as multiplayer) doesn’t entitle you to any specific rewards. That was fine for me for the vast majority of the time that I played this game! So yes, “get some friends” if you want stuff from activities that require teams. If not, I mean holy -blam!- most of the things that I use can easily be obtained solo/via random matchmaking de activities, I don’t know what to tell you.
Also lfg literally exists and most people that I’ve seen on there are, in fact, decent

Also I have literally no idea what this post is even about I mean seriously the comments feel like they should explain it but literally what??????????? Point to the part of the seasonal activity that requires you to make a team. Or are you complaining that it gives you teammates????????? Saying you don’t want matchmaking is literally the opposite of what most solo players want I’m pretty sure
40 AntwortenBearbeitet von Seraphim Crypto: 10/7/2021 9:21:00 PMTired of Solo players going into team activities expecting to get everything. Sorry to be harsh, not meant personal. But there are team modes. It's a social game. You'll fare better with a team, simple as that. Bungie already made Trials of Osiris more accessible to Solo Players. There will even be a Freelance mode in the future where people can't go in as Teams. Same goes with high-end PvE Activities. The chances to complete them without communication and teamwork is way too low to enable matchmaking. It would add more frustration than just requiring players to search two others (and you can still solo many high-end activities, if you really want to).

7 AntwortenBearbeitet von TonnoSenpai: 10/8/2021 4:27:28 AMyou have only 3 activity in the games you can't do alone, gm , raids, and trials ( yes you can go alone but go flawless is super hard), the rest of the game is made for solo/ casuals players
-
I'm sure it can still be done solo and it will be done solo by many. It is a social game but bungie doesnt include a way to actual socialize in game. Kind of backwards thinking . You have to use an app to find people if no one you know plays d2. I just wish the fireteam finder was in the actual game. It should be in the tower.
-
1 AntwortenLFG, discord groups, streams, it's all there you just arnt using the resources at hand
-
This is mainly a you problem as you created this restriction for a game that is mainly a social game. If it is fear of meeting people, then you will have to muster up some courage to overcome that obstacle. If you can't do that, there are still some solo activities you can do or other games that are made for solo players in mind.

Bearbeitet von Astrosa: 10/8/2021 8:14:31 AMFind a solo player game I do everything solo that’s efficient “meaning I’m not gonna go solo gm or vault just because I’m A sOLo PlAyer and not esoterickk” Finding a team isn’t hard at all, sometimes I decide to do things late and it takes longer but I always find a team. Anyway I’m gonna go file a complaint cause the restaurants chef cooked my food for me even tho I told I can cook for myself

4 AntwortenDestiny has always been the best when played with a fireteam. Seriously, you are missing out on one of the best things(next to gunplay) this franchise offers. Join a clan and make some online friends. You’ll enjoy your time playing the game a lot more.
-
Then get friends lol. Just because you choose to play solo, doesn't mean you're entitled to everything in the game that realistically requires you to have a fireteam.
-
If you play solo, you simply can’t expect to do or to get everything in the game. It’s a fact of life in multiplayer games. If you want the thing, do what it takes to get the thing. Don’t cry that it’s too hard and the process to get the thing should be changed to be more convenient. Sincerely, a solo gamer.
-
4 AntwortenThere's absolutely nothing wrong with having the difficulty increased to a level that requires a team. This has probably been the best year for solo players in PvE in D2.
-
I just got trials so I’m content for now lol
-
Maybe solo players just shouldn't expect to get everything in a game advertised as Destiny has been.
-
You’re not entitled to every reward or activity. The vast majority of the content in this game can be done 100% solo. The content that can’t is specifically designed for team work and communication. Dumbing those activities down for solo players would be idiotic. Raids aren’t made to be done solo, that’s why dungeons were made. And yeah, raids are about the only thing that’s impossible to solo without cheesing.

Once again, gaming dads are mad that the game doesn't cater specifically to their schedules. Destiny has always been marketed as a social game where the concept of a fireteam is central to the gameplay. "I don't have friends to play with" isn't Bungie's problem, it's yours.
