I've used shatterdive in the past and it makes me feel like I'm not even improving as a player if all I need to do is jump into the air and slam down on the ground in close proximity of an enemy to defeat them in the crucible. Since then, I don't use the aspect at all... it's not balanced at all if there's literally no cooldown on it.
For those who want it explaining in a simpler light: Shatterdive is as balanced as Telesto is good at staying out of trouble.

Put a 1-1.5sec cooldown/lock after throwing a stasis grenade. That should allow someone enough time to react and the hunter to land + rejump to shatter. 2. Damage based on how high the jump was that shattered. Example: - to break a stasis grenade requires X (100%) amount of damage to break. - jump from >30m height = 100% damage - jump from >20m height = 75% damage - jump from >10m height = 50% damage - jump from <10m = 25% Higher jump can encourage hunters to space out their jumps or jump from things which takes time. Which in turn allows people reaction time to break free and run. Mechanics are in game already - deathbringer has dark descent which gains damage the further it falls.
