Each season they give us some kind of seasonal mission and force us to complete it a billion times just to progress through the seasonal story, it's the same formula every season, and replaying these missions gets boring and mind-numbing really quickly, add on top of that the artifact XP system and the tedius bounty farming to raise your light level makes the game very stale and boring. And it's not that I don't like farming/grinding or anything, it's just that farming XP is the absolute most brain dead tedius -blam!- thing to do in this game holy -blam!-, I'll gladly farm raids for 30 light levels every season over grinding XP to raise my light level any -blam!- day.
Another thing I want to talk about is how Bungie sees weapons that are lacking in performance, they'll just issue an artifact mod that makes these weapons viable to use, but that's temporary, cause when the season ends, the seasonal mods go with it, and the weapons go back to being underpowered once more, like, why not just buff the weapons directly?!?
Furthermore, the champion system is very restricting and pointless, LET ME PLAY WITH WHATEVER I WANT GODDAMMIT, NO! I don't like changing my weapons every season, just remove champions from the game or rework them, heck, remove artifacts completely, that'll fix pretty much everything.

No, it's only you. Because you are unique; you are the one.
-
So many games out there, if you're tired. It's ok to step away....
-
I really don’t like the idea of having broken artifact mods like breach and clear and particle deconstruction. Although I love linear fusions, at the end of this season they are gonna be horse -blam!- again, on top of that many people ask for more difficulty in the game but I feel like these kinds of mods are the reason the game is so damn easy.
-
Take a break and come back for witch queen.
-
Not necessarily. It's honestly random at this point. Like right now I'm having fun despite not having much to do. But in seasons where there was, I also wasnt always having fun. Sometimes you just need to space it out.
-
Bearbeitet von Hatter: 10/5/2021 2:14:31 AMNo. Edit: and if you're tired of destiny then you need a damn break. Go play something else. This isn't rocket science.
-
I play when I feel like it. I've enjoyed this season alot. Perhaps you guys need an other game when you are feeling overwhelmed/underwhelmed? I skip seasons when they're boring. Like last season I skipped it. Game is fun but sheit does get too damn grindy at times.

Bearbeitet von TJ_Dot: 10/5/2021 12:35:28 AMIn my random curiosity of what's going on over here, I've returned to tell you I've already gotten tired Would you guys now like a Collections replace Vault / Remove the power grind and standardize difficulty pitch? It's these two I think would make coming back be worth it, somewhat.
-
I agree I'm already bored of this season I had more fun last season then this soo far but hopefully it gets better starting festival of the Lost but something's need to be adjusted to this game like Remove the Cap off of Season pass pinnacle gear nobody want to wait a whole week to buy 3 Pinnacle gear each week let us grind them as much as we want since it's a limited time weapon it also help limiting space in our vault in which we need more space of then have a pvp/PvE weapon of each gun Reimplement non duplicate bright engram rewards it's stupid we buy a season pass with Bright engrams that give you duplicate reward that you already have collected
-
Unfortunately Bungie doesnt learn, D2 started with Pinnacle crucible weapons that only a few got causing a toxic pvp experience so they stopped making them. Now you have trials weapons taking over the Pinnacle debacle. Tired of Vex mythoclast, adapt messenger and the newest version of the next big thing. I dont have mass amounts of time to dedicate to getting them, I work for a living. At least D1 had weapons like Imago loop that were competitive ect now it's only adept trials weapons or raid weapons.

5 AntwortenThis is what not enough people are talking about. This seasonal crap has been a problem for ages, yet no one talks about it.
-
The seasonal system should be changed. Getting horde modes every single season has lost the novelty and is leading to an increasing burnout of players. Every seasonal activity should be fairly different from the previous one, not just recycled and tweaked to look like a new one. Bungie should invest more in missions, side missions, quests, puzzles, and collectibles, all this available while playing the WHOLE game, not just the seasonal activity, and everything should contribute with XP to the seasonal pass, which, btw, should give some rewards every 5 or 10 levels after completing the 100 ranks. Also, the game core activities should be replaced with fresh new content.
-
Bungie prefer the: “play 2 hours on Tuesday and maybe Friday” approach to the game for seasonal content. It’s not changing since people keep praising it for whatever reason (probably story reasons). So I guess I’ll play something else? Not my fault bungie doesn’t want us playing their game.
-
Still love playing destiny. I can agree an artifact rework is needed. So dumb to lock resetting mods behind glimmer. I don’t want to grind glimmer to have fun with builds.
-
I think it's worthwhile to also note that this is the general sentiment at pretty much every cycle prior to new expansion. The month or two (four this time due to "reasons") prior to new expansion drop is always the worst part of the cycle. We've done just about everything and the teams are focused on launching the new content, not massaging the old. I get that you're mostly talking about the seasonal rotation content, but I think the upcoming expansion - with the waning days of the last expansion - is also taking its toll as it always has.

1 AntwortenI like how they changed the seasons up a little by spanning them out but it's kinda ruined when it only takes 30 minutes to complete the weekly story quest and then you have to wait till next week to hear more. It's like, what is everyone doing but twiddling their thumbs and the things that do happen are only found in lore rather than being involved in the experience. Also agree with getting rid of Champions. Worst thing they've ever done with this game.
-
2 AntwortenI want Bungie to just get the -blam!- out of the way entirely they micro manage everything and it makes me turn the game off.
-
5 AntwortenIt's so weird, I was just watching a video on Halo Infinite and I think I'm going to buy an Xbox or better PC and play that game. It looks fun as hell to me and I've never played Halo so I think I'm going that direction...also like Battlefield. Destiny was my first game in the first person shooter and I never really played anything else other than sports games. I think that changes very soon. A non-related note: Iron Banner broke me this time around, I will never capture another zone again. I have to be in the top 5% of zones captured hell probably higher, no more, screw it I'll just run and gun from now on.

No lie.. I was just coming onto this site to post a topic pretty much identical to this. Hahah! Witch Queen is going to be NO different from every expansion. Sure, there will be new strikes and dungeons but, realistically, what are you doing after that? Once you've played the 90-minute long main campaign, you're going to be doing the same tasks over and over and over again just to raise a stupid number that has nothing to do with your power beyond name alone. Do some missions. Campaign over. Ended obscurely so they can bring back something whenever they need to re-hash something and bank on nostalgia. Try to get some good rolls on weapons by doing bounties endlessly and the same 3-strikes, 3-crucible, 3-gambit pinnacle runs every week. There's nothing to do in this game but the exact same things from the start of the game. It just gets a new coat of paint each time. I have NO idea what people see as enjoyment out of this game other than playing some activities with friends. Yeah, I can enjoy a raid or a nightfall with some good peeps but it's not always possible to do those activities. Hell, you have to schedule your raid times like it's a second-job. Taking hours out of your limited free-time just to play an activity that you might not even get anything good from by the time you're done.

Im tired of sweaty iron banner games. These algorithms need to really change coz the enjoyment out of ib is totally gone.

1 AntwortenBearbeitet von Corrick II: 10/4/2021 10:08:40 PMI’m sitting this season out. I played almost every day last season and had fun but that was enough gut a while. This is a good time to take a break anyway, considering this season features almost all of my least favorite parts of Destiny. That’s pretty much the pattern my Destiny experience has turned into, a few months on, a few months off, and really the only reason I come back at all is for the core gameplay. Everything else is just the same basic mechanics and gear recycled over and over. I’ll be back in February ready to let the game take over my life again.
-
Meh. These days I work more and jump from game to game in my free time. So no. I have not been tired of Destiny.
-
Yeah, I hardly play nowadays.
-
Take a break. Sounds like your experiencing burn out. It’s normal. I get it. I take a break for 2-3 weeks
-
Yeah I’m taking a break
-
Just take a break. I’ve often gone on breaks for a year at a time if I get bored
