Each season they give us some kind of seasonal mission and force us to complete it a billion times just to progress through the seasonal story, it's the same formula every season, and replaying these missions gets boring and mind-numbing really quickly, add on top of that the artifact XP system and the tedius bounty farming to raise your light level makes the game very stale and boring. And it's not that I don't like farming/grinding or anything, it's just that farming XP is the absolute most brain dead tedius -blam!- thing to do in this game holy -blam!-, I'll gladly farm raids for 30 light levels every season over grinding XP to raise my light level any -blam!- day.
Another thing I want to talk about is how Bungie sees weapons that are lacking in performance, they'll just issue an artifact mod that makes these weapons viable to use, but that's temporary, cause when the season ends, the seasonal mods go with it, and the weapons go back to being underpowered once more, like, why not just buff the weapons directly?!?
Furthermore, the champion system is very restricting and pointless, LET ME PLAY WITH WHATEVER I WANT GODDAMMIT, NO! I don't like changing my weapons every season, just remove champions from the game or rework them, heck, remove artifacts completely, that'll fix pretty much everything.

2 AntwortenGotta take breaks bro. Stop playing for the full season. Get your loot, maybe hit max on the battle pass, play something else. No shame In it.

Tired of crossplay
-
Terraria 1.4 just dropped on xbox soooo...yeeeeaaaahh.. Play something different if you don't like destiny lol
-
No not tired of it

Tired of wasting time on Destiny. Can you remember the last good weapon drop? Me either, Bungie thinks weapons that can only use 5 perks to be viable should roll with 40...thats what the lottery is for not Destiny....But yea, I seem to get more and more fed up with spending countless hours in Destiny only to end up with nothing, disappointment or sheer frustration. If its not them nerfing weapons we spent hours getting, its the hours of countless weapon drops that are utter trash rolls. Over and over and over...now they tighten Gms so you have to fit and have cirtain loadouts just to play. No ones fault Bungie did this in D1 with galli. If no gally horn, no join, no warlock or titan ect, no join. I think they need help. OUTSIDE help because the way I see it, they can not..

20 AntwortenBearbeitet von Rogue: 10/4/2021 7:49:37 AMDude, take a break. If you read one book for years you’d be bored too. Content takes infinitely longer to make than it does to play, it simply isn’t possible for Bungie to create enough content to placate you indefinitely. Step away, and maybe try creating something yourself.

3 AntwortenNo single game can fulfill my gaming wants.

Go play somethimg else then, elden ring is coming out, battlefield, far cry, metroid, horizon... Stop complaining on 'DESTINY FORUMS' about it being bad because destiny actually is in a pretty good state compared to a few months ago. Sure there are glitches and stupid -blam!- but thats a part of the package, like it or not, thats why veterans can have 5000-10000 hours played on destiny and destiny 2, destiny -blam!- rocks, doesnt matter if i get bored, invite a couple of friends or lfg and have fun. Thats with every game, the whole point of a game is that you are supposed ro have fun, and destiny has done that for me and many more for how many years, and still will for a good couple years. No hate with this comment just wanted to spread a lityle wise words. But for me destiny will always be that game i can hop on again, thats why i play destiny with a single player game on the side, so ill always have something to play when i come home from work/school/where ever.

Absolutely. The weapons feel uninspired to me. Theres nothing overly worth grinding anymore. They sunset many of the best weapons in the game. But my worst complaint is this time gated bs they throw at us every week that isnt even worth a day of content. Im praying wq is a little different but who knows anymore. Only time will tell. The game is stale and as much as i hate to say it, its just not the game for me anymore. Even taking breaks i just cant bring myself to like it like i once did. I just got on today and i hated every second bc it felt like i was doing chores.

1 AntwortenBearbeitet von DeathPony07: 10/6/2021 4:26:54 PMThe things I'm tired of: The pointless power level grind every season. Not being able to use extra 1330 gear to level up my other characters like I could in D1. The insane amounts of xp required to level up after hard cap. Constantly having to switch out mods. Elemental affinity. The ridiculous cost of upgrade/Masterworking materials. Drip feed content. Champions/Champion mods/limiting what weapons I can use. Being limited to only 12 artifact mods instead of unlocking all of them. Having to rely on luck to level up to hard cap. Having to play PvP and Gambit when I hate both. Elitists. Bounties. Having to grind ritual playlist levels twice to get the Ascendancy ornaments. Didn't we ask for less grind, not twice as much? Adept weapons and mods being locked behind Grandmaster difficulty when they're not worth the frustration or the time. Put them in Master difficulty too. Wyverns.

2 AntwortenYes. I am. Long time player here but currently feeling like my longest time in Destiny is over. Not because i am burned out on Destiny by any means, not bacause of the lack of content (quantity wise, imo we have enough). No, it's because of things like the DCV (deleting content from an MMO that should GROW is terrible), because of disrespecting players time by intentionally rigging the rng system, making us run the same missions, same weekly challenges, same light level grind, a million times every single season without any benefit. And the main point being them abandoning pvp. Pvp was the ONLY thing that made me play Destiny after finishing the campaign in the first place. And here i am with around 3-4k hours in the game cause the "farm guns in pve and bring them into pvp" formula got me hooked and felt exciting. Made me enjoy pve way more aswell over time. Now we get two reissued maps from D2 itself after 3 years of no maps and maybe one new one within year 5. Thats what they call content for pvp these days. Good luck with that.

4 AntwortenWhenever I get tired, I do this thing where I stop playing destiny. It's an ancient technique I learned from Tibetan monks after an accident left me without the ability to use my hands which heavily impacted my career as a surgeon
-
41 AntwortenHow is this even a conversation? Don’t enjoy playing it? Stop and play something else. Tired of the game? Stop playing and find another hobby. It’s not rocket surgery.

Then play a different game
-
That’s typical what a video game is. A formula that is more or less followed over and over. When you play madden one year it isn’t a curling game. And as someone who has tried dozens of other games during Destiny’s slow period I can tell you that Destiny is one of the best games ever created. It is so good that we all spend 100s of hours in it immediately when new content drops them complain there is nothing to do. I am guilty of this as well but I am able to see the bigger picture. With all the challenges facing the world this is what they can delivery. I’m ok with it for now. But I can’t wait for a new raid!

Destiny has gotten abit bland as theres no variety in farming loot and doing activities alot of it feels copy n pasted Kinda moved onto different games for the time being -blam!- Terraria (1.4 dropped n im happy) and FF XIV Try some other games theres alot out there

its just bad, champions at least did something for rotation of weapons, but already too old. no reason to chase anything as i have nowhere to put it. and with current shatterdive meta, there is no reason to play pvp unless you are a hunter and paid for stasis which makes the game pay to win. with no content for coming months, one would hope that they will at least fix bugs, like invisible players, but no, it has been here for maybe half a year, no care, maybe in 2023. this tuesday i turned destiny on after reset and turned it off within 2 minutes. nothing to do. one gm, even if something else was promised. see you in december for all gms i guess. They are pushing stasis so hard everyones throat, its an equivalent of someone disturbing you all the time when you try to focus on something. just makes you look at your character and you cannot do anything. stops the flow of the game. Shatterdive that is a **** move kills every super, but hey it may sell even more beyond light. Bungie must be so much running out of money and desperate. they even made a 6 moths season in which they need to sell additional content, because making it a separate season will make less money. It is still a placeholder and witch queen will be delayed until summer at least with all the current bugs still present. I feel lucky that i enjoyed the game while it lasted. its going downhill fast. chasing some dino armor? nope, i have nowhere to put it. playing astral alignment? I will wait for the catalyst NEXT YEAR to drop from nf. not interested in any of the guns or equip, even if i was i have nowhere to put it. They are running out of money, general interest of making the game fun or both. I'm ready to bury it and move on.

Day one D1 player and I still play but only to do pinnacles as the rest is so unrewarding and a waste of time. Once my Titan has all 1330 armour I am done. However 6 gauntlets in a row when I need a dish rag is not very funny Bungie. I will not be getting WQ because a 30 minute story line then back to the same -blam!- is not very appealing.

9 AntwortenDestiny 2 as a whole is a total failure. The game isn't fun and it nothing more than a wallet and guardian farm. Season hasn't even been here for very long and hardly anyone plays. Bungle has no clue how to make fun engaging games. They only care about farming wallets and it shows

Back 4 blood and metroid dread come out in a week. Nuff said

Burn out happens with Destiny. Especially because the model of how a season and it’s activity flows is so repetitive. If you don’t want to “miss out@ you can scale back how much you play while only keeping up with the 30-45 minutes needed for the weekly story segments. Why not just keep buffing weapons instead of seasonal mods? Power creep. Unless something is working beyond its intended function and breaking stuff, they don’t have to balance anything. The removal of whatever mods at the end of season take care of that. Yeah, I’m not a fan of he champion mod system either. It feels way too restrictive. Even more so if you do content solo, because so many blue berries will queue up for Hero Nightfalls and whatever without even one weapon+mod capable of stunning a champion. And instead of equipping one they just quit if a champion keeps stomping them. We can’t force people into using mods, but it would be nice if my loadouts didn’t have to be so restricted if Im going to be the only hero of the group. If the loadouts for dealing with champions weren’t so restrictive some time more people would be using weapons capable of stunning champions.

Play something else
-
It’s depressing and frustrating that I can’t use the weapons I want to use because they’re not meta.
-
I actually feel like the game I loved is not aimed at me anymore. Clan mates abandoned years ago and all I see is youtube videos by good content providers, talking about End Game content I will never do, Adept weapons I will never get and god rolls as if any other roll is -blam!-. It's as if unless you play with a team or have all the time in the world, we Bungie don't really care about you.
