No. Vex shows that the rest of the game's primaries are badly underpowered. What Vex exposes is how many players rely on the game's overly-long TTK in order to runaway from losing gunfigths or make poor use of cover. Vex kills quickly enough...and at enough range...that if you are away from cover, you're not going to be able to run away. You're going to have to commit to the fight.

Very recently got Vex, tried it in crucible for a few matches, even without the catalyst it’s disgusting. It can be outgunned though but only if the opponent is really on it, if they f*ck up slightly they’re dead. Can’t wait to finish the catalyst and set crucible on fire for a bit though 😂

Maybe it could use a touch of a range nerf but it can get outgunned quite often when facing pulses, especially 340s. 120s hand cannons are also still good because of the massive burst damage they do.

Sure ban vex ban HC as well. Oh and ban shotguns, fusion rifles, snipers, sidearms, AR, and trace rifles. Bow and pillow fights only.

It’s TTK is literally 0.03 seconds faster than the average ttk. The only broken things about it is the catalyst and linear mode.

That is a slippery slope that we should not go down. Let it be powerful for a time. Bungie is sure to reign it in a little at some point.
