The thing is my internet isn’t even that bad and I have been working on fixing it for months. Ethernet isn’t cheap and there aren’t many other options for getting a better connection

You simply don’t have the right to ruin the game for others just because you want to.

What do you recommend I do then? I can’t afford Ethernet right now and I’ve tried wifi extenders and got a new router but nothing works. I don’t want to ruin the game for others but I really want to be able to play it myself
-
Have you looked into utilizing a PowerLine adapter configuration? If you think that a 2 week restriction is way too long, then you're really going to hate the next restriction that could come your way if you don't resolve your internet issues as that one is a 2 month restriction.
-
I haven't looked into that but I will. Thanks

Welcome and good luck.

Set up your PC next to the router so you can use an Ethernet port instead of WiFi?
-
My router needs to connected to our cable box and there is nowhere to move my pc to thats close enough to use a direct ethernet connection
-
Embrace your creative side and make a space for your setup.

I have to get ethernet installed because of the placement of my router and my computer. My parents needed my router changed for other reasons but I would have to pay for ethernet myself

Then it’s time to find a different game. Why should everyone else suffer just because you like Destiny? You ruin the game for 5-11 other people every time you play.
-
That's not a solution. I have put tens of thousands of hours into destiny on all my platforms and I love this game. I'm not giving up this game because my internet isn't the best. It is function for plenty of other online games and works perfectly fine on xbox. All I want to do is play the game. I'm not trying to ruin the experiences of others and I'm asking for solutions.

Whether or not your connection is fine for other games is irrelevant. Destiny is not other games. When you grow up, you’ll realize that what you want isn’t everyone else’s problem, and that it’s very possible to be responsible for something that isn’t your fault. You can fix your connection, or you can continue getting suspensions of 2 months at a time. But the correct thing to do is find a hobby where your fun isn’t dependent on ruining the fun of others.
