I think the last nerf overshot just a touch. I'm speaking of PVP primarily. The behemoth punch really could use some help. That thing is as clunky as the whole sub-class.
Maybe help out some Titans? We can't all be Hunters.

Hi, Proud hunter main here… I just came to downvote your post… good day sir 😁
-
3 AntwortenNo, Titans can mindlessly shoulder charge and curve into enemies.
-
Shoulder charge and the striker melee’s need a buff. You know this is true when you have full health and you ballistic slam right on top of warlock and it just takes his shields down and he immediately melees you and kills you instantly.
-
5 AntwortenTitans cry about hunters yet want their auto tracking OHK ability to have more tracking. u w0t m8
-
I can’t tell you how often I’ve gone for glory with my perigrine greaves to just slide off a boss or major only to die… They’re hardly worth using now.
-
1 AntwortenThe tracking is terrible. You literally zip right past people. Make it reliable, and increase the damage so that it still one shots if your opponent is a higher light level (within 5 levels at least)
-
1 AntwortenI support this, but not the misconception that Hunters are better. Play a Hunter and you’ll understand what I mean.
-
Agree. There are some equipment which improves it but yes, needs a buff.
-
Nope. No buffs. You should not get to auto lock on to me for damage that will probably result in a kill cause dunemarchers

Bearbeitet von Facelauss: 9/22/2021 3:00:32 PMBehemoth melee is not a shoulder charge And I had a match where I got 20 sc kills right after the changes to sc way back. It’s fine
-
1 AntwortenBut what should change on it?
-
29 AntwortenShatterdive needs a buff too. It should slow you upon impact as well
-
Shouldn't one-shot anyway 🤔
-
7 AntwortenNo thanks. SC is already good enough. And has plenty of exotics making it better. Like full recharge and heal.. Or overshield.

7 AntwortenBearbeitet von Infamous067: 9/22/2021 12:32:49 AMSure! But only if my shade binder melee tracks again because that thing gets me killed more often than not. the small projectile tends to go through players. Im forced to aim at the enemy feet because of the AOE and even that in itself is garbage because bungie nerfed the radius too. Shade binder has no way to shatter stuff and I was fine with that because we had our melee able to consistently freeze, now we cant even do that so the shade binder is a meme for pvp. Before anyone talks about pve, stfu, bungie separated the sandbox for stasis abilities so duh the melee is going to be good on pve.

The behemoth melee and the other classes' melees are completely different. The light class are OHK. The behemoth, unless you put them into a wall, just boops em out of your way. I mean, it does damage, but unless they're already hurt, they're walking away from it and shooting back.

Needs a little tracking tweak increase. Some wiff that shouldn't.

5 AntwortenBearbeitet von a Chicken Nugget (Adept): 9/21/2021 9:54:42 PMI think it’s fine. Because it’s a one hit kill melee at base. The only other class with that would be the hunter weighted throwing knife, but that’s not as good since you need a headshot with it. If it does get a buff, I don’t play Titan, I don’t know if it’s too hard to hit a player, but if there is a problem like that that does need a buff, then it shouldn’t one shot. It you should one shot with a good damage perk or peregrine greaves. You would have to spend an exotic slot or set up a damage perk like charged with light to get the one shot, otherwise it would do about 2/3 health. I think that’s fair

4 AntwortenI think its just bottem tree void titan that needs a registration buff. The others seem to connect just fine. But that tree needs a buff as a whole. Ppl often complain about sholder charge but tbh i havent encounterd any for the past 2 years or so outside the occasional top tree hammers that show up every blue moon.
-
9 AntwortenI think bubble needs a buff most importantly
-
7 AntwortenI’m beginning to believe that shoulder charge shouldn’t lunge towards targets at all, and instead should just go the direction you choose and have a hit box to determine if you damage enemies or not. However, I’m not sure if the reason shoulder charge isn’t used often is because it’s underpowered or if it’s because all Shoukder charges are currently on each subclasses’ most underperforming skill tree. You don’t see that many top tree hammer, bottom tree Sentinel, or top tree Strikers around, do you?
-
Shoulder Charge or Shiver Strike? Because they are very diffrent my dude, SC is fine as it is, SS could use a small tweak in the animation to not make it look so clunky and a bit of tracking that's all in my opinion.

To be fair, shoulder chargers are the most unga-bunga type people out there. There's 2 types: super-apes that straight-line you and try to shoulder charge at the last second, and giga-apes that try to out-think you and run between cover and pull off all kinds of fancy moves just to shoulder charge you at the last second. In the first case, just...gun them down. They're straight-lining, they're not hard to headshot. In the second, just....back up and gun them down. They're trying so hard to outmaneuver you that if you just back up in a straight line, you gain more distance than they do and then..well...see type 1. So no, shoulder charge doesn't really need a buff of any kind. It's for apes, it shouldn't hold your hand. If it misses, you weren't on target to begin with. If you go flying off a ledge, you had bad positioning when you used it. If you got killed running at them, you shouldn't have crutched on the charge so hard. Nearly every death when trying to use shoulder charge of any kind is user error. I say nearly because I was a titan main once myself, ran defender from D1 all the way to halfway through the first season of Beyond Light, and I used every aspect of it throughout that time. And I know how the game can shift against you. Hit registration is awful sometimes, tracking is no better. Sometimes you'll be right on target, and it'll send you flying left for some reason. Sometimes you'll hit them dead on and do nothing. I'm not saying every loss is 100% user error, just most of them. Why? Because all the shoulder charge style melees are for apes, gorillas, chimpanzees, monkeys, macaques, howlers, baboons, bonobos, noobs, scrubs, trash cans, super blueberries, whatever you want to call them. They aren't for good or intelligent players because they aren't DESIGNED to be. They're meant to be the simplest, most easy-to-use ability in the game. See enemy, charge at enemy, kill enemy with fist. Don't ask for a buff on the most noob-friendly ability in the game.

Bearbeitet von Kiro - 13: 9/21/2021 4:46:43 PMThe issue with buffing its hit registration is it use to track through walls in the past. Think Chaos reach killing ppl behind perfect cover before it was nerfed, like that. Titans need a buff dont get me wrong, but it was no fun when you could be around a dead turn and the tracking would clip the corner of the wall.

Maybe help out some Titans? We can't all be Hunters.[/quote] Personally I don’t think there is anything wrong with Titan melees. And I’m a Titan main. I think the issue is hit registration and ability activation. This was hugely adamant for me when BL dropped with the stasis punch where you would be right next to your target and you would end up sending yourself off the cliff when you just wanted to punch them. Same with other classes, Hunter especially. When running void, I always seem to throw a smoke grenade at my enemy instead of punching. And then end up die’n to whoever. Hit registration seems to have taken a bit of a down turn.
