[BNG] S15 Windows 7 Launch Issues - Updated 9/16
Since the launch of Season of the Lost, players on Windows 7 haven't been able to launch the game.

For those of you who would swap to Win 10 but are prevented due to the cost, you might try [url=https://www.howtogeek.com/509087/how-to-upgrade-from-windows-7-to-windows-10-for-free/]this option[/url]. I did it yesterday and it worked fine, still 100% free. The software for my RAID controller doesn't work anymore, but Destiny 2 does. Just wanted you to know that you do have options, if the cost is your barrier.

1 AntwortenIf it's merely a change in your build then why is it that Battleye is the one popping up the error message... But regardless of whether it is an issue in your build or in Battleye, you should have tested it properly first. That includes testing it on the operating systems that are supposed to be supported...

15 AntwortenFixing bugs isn't always quick and easy no matter how much we paid for the game, nor how much we complain or threaten. They say they're working on it, give them time. We need to be patient and understanding. We all want to be back on the battlefield, but it's out of our control for now.

I believe I found a fix (potentially) for this issue! I deleted steam.. all of my files, games, etc. All of it. I deleted everything then re-downloaded steam, downloaded destiny, and it’s been working ever since. This fix is extremely inconvenient and perhaps time consuming, but if your just completely fed up like I was, you should try it. I really hope this helps y’all out! EDIT 1: This is for the windows 10 players who have been commenting about the game freezing/crashing here in this thread. Dk if this works on win7 but y’all should probably upgrade anyways.

We understand that the devs are trying their best to fix these errors, but some daily updates on a public thread would be nice just so we know we're not forgotten <3
