Confused is the first thing that comes to mind. I've been talking with as many people who would listen to me. From players that love doing raids to players that really don't play it often. Same with Iron Banner.
Disabling trials on the weekends when a Raid Race Or Iron Banner comes around seems like you want a group of people to not play your game?
Is the goal here to push players away? Players that don't play the raid or Iron Banner for whatever reason they decide turn on the system for a relaxing weekend and realize that there is no Trials so they feel left out of the game. Not solely by their choice but by the development teams choice?
Confusion. Once again the people that I've talked to from all spectrums of the player base are just not sure why Trials would be cancelled on those weekends.
Smaller Player Base in Trials? That's nothing new to the community lol. Also if I wanted to sit there and play the same team over and over why should I not be able to. Win or Lose I would like that option.
FOMO of the new (If it's even a new) Raid? Not making me jump any quicker into the raid because Trials is here.
Would love to hear more from the team on why Trials should take a backseat stripping players of the choice between what they would like to do within a given week. Something doesn't add up.
Thank you for your time.

1 AntwortenDisabling it for Raid race is kind of a one off thing and there are probably a lot more players who would be doing it, compared to those who would want to play trials. I'm kinda on the fence about that one. But if they're disabling trials each time there is IB on, then I agree. It isn't fair at all. It would take the choice away from people on regular basis. Even if someone has 3 characters they play on, its easy to get all the bounties done for IB between Tuesday and Friday then hop on into trials to get trials loot. Doesn't really make much sense tbh.

Well, here's a reality check- the world doesn't revolve around trials players, just like the game doesn't revolve around trials.

1 AntwortenThis is a good point, the people that do raid races are mostly not trials people and the raid race is a 24 hour event. Trials is 4 days, so why would it be canceled for the whole weekend? Additionally, if the idea is to increase the population of players in Iron banner and trials, why not just offer iron banner drops/rewards and trial rewards in the trials game mode on the weekend. Run iron banner as normal during the week and switch to the combined rewards at Friday reset.
