I'm sayin something nice about Bungie. Kudos for a great season start.
No networking problems. Other than the usual "Destiny is at capacity..." wait, once I got on, I stayed on until I logged off. Not once did I get dropped. I can't remember the last time that's happened with the start of a new season.
And the weapons... Kudos again. The hand cannon has rocketed to the top of my favorites list. I've just barely scratched the surface of the perk pool yet but if there's a god roll on the horizon, it's going to be a monster. I've gotten three so far and there's not a bad roll among them. Just one auto rifle so far but after about an hour of use, I can see this being top-tier as well. I'm no PvP junkie but I can see both getting a lot of use in both modes.
So far, I'm pleased. Best first season day I've had in a very long time.
Nice job, Bungie!

Agreed. This season is off to a great start. Loving almost everything they have done. Gambit still needs some work but otherwise kudos all around. I am genuinely excited to grind again.

Momentum so bugged either landslide win or landslide loss. Got to a stage where void grenades and super stopped building up lol just dead 🙃

1 AntwortenUh clearly you havent experienced the plethera of bugs and glitches and problems that 90% of the rest of the Destiny 2 community is facing, but I do agree that the new weapons and story and cutscenes are some of the coolest and most interesting in a while.

I like the season. But I've been plagued with game breaking bugs, getting kicked with error codes and game freezes. I'm surprised by the game freezing. That's never happened to me before in Destiny that I can remember. The rollout of the new season was one of the worst performance wise. At least for me. Other than that, I'm enjoying the new season.

4 AntwortenThere's a tweet thread by bungie consisting of 28 tweets, listing around 50 bugs, including critical errors like pc players missing files and can't load the game, faction armour causing fatal game crashes once equipped, Xbox picking up the ps5 bug causing full re-installs. Quests not working, loot not dropping, pinnacle and powerful drops not being active, pc inviting console players causing weasel and hard crashes, friends lists and clan lists not working, etc etc etc etc Actually one of the worst launches EVER

1 AntwortenRampant error codes aside, this is one of the better launches so far. Nice variety of loadout choices, great artifact mods, great looking new weapons with a solid host of new and returning perks. So long as they don’t go nerfing the fun stuff into oblivion, I’m a happy camper. Makes me hopeful for the next DLC. A few short weeks ago, I was ready to hang up D2 for good. Now, I feel excited for what’s coming down the pipeline.

5 AntwortenNo lie had 2 bluescreens in 20 minutes trying to play gambit imo servers are trash and now about to get a 2 month ban restriction for game crashing. Do you think this is reasonable enough to ban a person?

I was pretty happy with the start until I just noticed illicit gambit prime armor being available this season. If this isn't just for ornaments purposes and they bring back gambit prime after sunsetting it and ALL my armor sets I just might have a stroke.

3 AntwortenAfter 2 days, great start, yes. But what about the rest of the long season. If they don’t do something I’m afraid the player base will shrink. Not much to do, and the mods this season are pretty crappy, not to mention champion mods don’t give us much choice on what to use. Boring artifact mods, long season, not much to do really. Hope it gets better.
