Shotgun takes skill, you cant change my mind. Yes it’s really easy to run at some dude and press Mouse1, but it honestly takes mire skill to be effective with a shotgun than with a nade launcher, for an example.
If you want to actually be good with a shotgun and be effective against good players you need quite a lot of game sense. After all the past and the upcoming nerf to shotguns, it’s really gotten harder to use shotguns effectively, but people are gonna keep complaining after dying to shotguns. Just because you’re getting farmed by a shotgun player, doesn’t mean they’re broken, stop -blam!- people.

1 AntwortenOrdinarily, I'd agree, but almost every map here takes a lot of the game-sense and positioning skill needed out of shotgunning beyond "don't overextend or otherwise charge into 3 enemies blindly." Really just makes shotgunning the default for up close because it's got high reward for fairly low risk. Maps like Vostok or the Nine maps that got vaulted do take legitimate skill (or masochism) to shotgun on, but places like Anomaly, Cauldron, and Burnout especially take a lot of that out of the equation completely.
