Hey all! Been playing Destiny 2 for about a year now, but I’ve let my social anxiety get in the way of doing any raids, dungeons, trials etc. I decided that I want to give a guided raid a try. As of season of the splicer - what is the easiest raid for new raiders (I would say that I am pretty good at pve) Thanks for reading!

2 AntwortenEasiest raid is vog.

1 AntwortenI know this post is about raids specifically, but dungeons require zero communication, if everyone knows what they're doing, at least shattered throne and prophecy doesnt need it, I've never done pit

5 AntwortenIn my opinion, for current available raids from Hardest to Easiest Last Wish>Deep Stone Crypt>Garden of Salvation>Vault of Glass Vault of Glass is probably the most forgiving raid. Get you a team that respects your ability! Get people who know what their in for in that it’s your first raid. MANY would LOVE to help a person their first time, but some groups just want to start and finish as quick as possible. Avoid those groups.

1 AntwortenBefore you try a raid may I suggest a dungeon as they are a great entry point to understand mechanics in destiny. You can also get great loot from dungeons such as Xeno from the quest. In my opinion rn, it is dsc due to it being out for a while and having the easiest loot requirements of the rest of the raids. Doing vog also may be a good idea rn too due to people going for the emblem that requires raid carries. I would suggest lament and a slug shotgun before you try crypt. If you are going to do vog again get a slug shotgun and if you are using a titan get a falling star chest piece for thunder crash. And this is a lot to ask for but doing these things makes raids easier. And if you can learn one encounter and do a spoils farm for anarchy. Hope these tips help

5 AntwortenI dont want to be mean, but I think this needs to be said, you want to raid, get over your social anxiety, if not its a you problem there are plenty of chill clans aimed for every and any type of content in the game as for raids themselves its called Youtube, give it a try, pretty sure Datto has a clear cut guide for every raid dont expect anything from LFG groups, they usually boil in little water, rage when they cant beat the activity and leave, leaving you in square one

3 AntwortenIt has all been said but, in a concise list: - do your homework, watch vids - join a clan or Sherpa post - have suitable weapons (vids again) - have suitable light level - be clear about what you do know how to do and what you need advice with - communicate. I know this might be the hardest bit for you but once you start it will become easier and easier. -do not be put off by any failure Raids are the best thing in this game (with some dungeons) you absolutely should stick at this. Go well guardian.

6 AntwortenBearbeitet von ZoniCat: 7/2/2021 9:44:37 PMVault of Glass is the easiest raid. However: Do Last Wish first. It's 100% what every raid in destiny should be. GoS has the challenge, DSC has the story and scenery, VoG has the mystery and suspense . . . but Last Wish has all of that in droves. The stop to this is that you must do Riven Legit to experience Last Wish, if you cheese Riven it will be a hollow experience and the raid won't be as special as it could be. Granted there is a death glitch going on during Riven right now, so maybe start with VoG anyways.

1 AntwortenAdd me Ill sherpa you through VOG and DSC.
-
2 AntwortenWhatever you do just be completely honest with your Sherpa regarding what you know & what you dont know. Also be clear on what gear you have & dont have so they can guide you accordingly so you can kill stuff stay alive & do some damage to the boss

I would try vault of glass first man. It’s super easy.
-
2 AntwortenYou can join our Clan if you'd like. We're a small chill group of adults and we're very active. We do all endgame PvE content and have some pvp players. Message me if you're interested.
-
Vault of glass, you can probably blag your way through it if you say you know what to do haha! Vault of glass or deep stone crypt are the easiest though, always people teaching new players too in the lfg
-
2 AntwortenDSC is very easy to learn. Do not attempt GoS at all.
-
Deep stone is very easy to learn, I’d try that one first. There’s very little amount of mechanics especially for the final boss There’s also vog which again really doesn’t have a lot of mechanics and very easy to learn

1 AntwortenHey GnocchiGod, welcome to raiding! When D1 first launched I was a solo player, until my brother in law encouraged me to try a raid. I had a terrific experience with a skilled and patient sherpa, we cleared the raid, I got really good loot, and I felt like a better player for having spent time with this guy. A few years later and I am a now raid sherpa on all three platforms, with over 3000 raid clears and 2000 "sherpa runs" where someone on the team was learning the raid for the very first time. I have streamed over 10,000 hours of Destiny on Twitch, and I'm a school teacher in real life, so I have some experience in creating a supportive learning environment and explaining concepts to learners. I'm lucky enough to have a robust friends list and fully active clan of 100 people so we can field teams on any platform and we like to teach. Easiest way to get in a raid is to hop into my Twitch chat and say, "I'm looking to learn VoG for the first time!" and we bump you to the front of the line, you get next run. I stream from 6pm to midnight, eastern US timezone, on M, W, F and from 2pm to midnight on Saturdays and Sundays. Join us, let's make a team and raid! XBOX: ARTFUL 5 PS5: ARTFUL_5 Steam: Artful5 Twitch: Artful5

1 AntwortenCheck out this dude’s post. They’re sherpaing raids for people on XB and PC, and they have close to 600 Sherpas under their belt. https://www.bungie.net/en/Forums/Post/259205632?page=0&sort=0&showBanned=0&path=0

5 AntwortenVault of glass is your best bet. DSC was a great raid for beginners but not many people do it anymore.

1 AntwortenBearbeitet von He's Crotating: 7/2/2021 9:55:19 AMPut in the time beforehand to earn the good dps exotics, Xeno for example.
-
1 AntwortenBe confident with yourself Watch some Datto guides, get in there and say with confidence "I've never done this before but have watched guides, if you give me a quick rundown we'll get it no problem" at the end of the day YOU are the one who wants the clear, others most probably have done 1 before Don't be toxic if someone wants to explain you something Always be positive, outgoing and cooperative Don't talk more than what you should do or what is required of you, leave comms to a minimum when LFGing otherwise everything goes to shit
-
3 Antwortenweapons to have for; DSC - slug shotgun w/boss spec (for boss damage - last fight) - sniper or reliable scout - Xeno & Anarchy & Lament ** if you dont have Lament use Guillotine ** if you dont have Xeno or Anarchy use a Heavy GL with auto loading/ full court or best you got - Gnawing hunger - it's void & it's good for portions of this raid or a primary auto rifle if needed - SUPERS - you can go attack or defense, doesnt matter really but arc is a fun one VOG - void GL or Salvo or primary GL and void secondary - Xeno & Anarchy but pack a legendary GL incase OR Truth/ Two tail Fox - auto rifle and sniper - SUPERS, having a Well on hand makes a difference, Blade Barrage on Atheon ONLY is a blast so is thundercrash, before end fight ad control/staying alive is the game there are other weapons you could use for sure but this is a good starting point, happy hunting Wook

2 AntwortenOne tip is for dsc not really helpful but....... turn up the music after a certain encounter, that is all.
-
1 AntwortenI would highly recommend lfg make your own group and explain you want showing what to do. Guided games raid has ridiculous wait times and no guarantees that the guides will even speak the same language.
-
4 AntwortenDSC and VoG are good raids to start on. Not overly difficult, pretty straightforward mechanics. Find a chill team, if people are being buttholes because of one newbie mistake, then find a different team. Good luck!
-
1 AntwortenGo lfg, and if you get a toxic group, leave and find another group. There are many nice people willing to help, and a few Aholes here and there. Get slug shotty, and Xenophage. After that, whatever works.

1 AntwortenAs everyone else has said, it's a toss up between Deep Stone Crypt and Vault of Glass for the title of easiest Raid. Last Wish is a definite step up from them and Garden of Salvation is nightmarish solely because of the final boss. In terms of advice before you do a Raid, I have a few things I can offer. - make it clear that you're new to it; don't be afraid to ask questions if you don't understand something, the people who will do a Guided Game will be more than happy to answer because it makes their lives easier too. - have a variety of weapons at-level and make sure you have special weapons; no one will expect you to have an optimal loadout but two primary weapons and a random heavy won't cut it in a Raid. You can't really go wrong with your choice of primary, a Slug Shotgun is the go-to special but it's good to have a Sniper on hand too, a Rocket Launcher is your best bet for a decent Heavy weapon. - similarly, find out what the best Exotic armour pieces are for your class and make sure they're at a usable level too, it is very beneficial to use different armour for boss encounters than what you would use for ones that are mostly about killing enemies and doing some other objective. - if you're feeling confident, ask if you can try some of the roles with some amount of responsibility. The more comfortable you are at doing things other than "just kill mobs", the easier it will be to play with other groups in the future.

1 AntwortenYou may want to do a dungeon first if you haven't already. Kind of get an idea of the teamwork involved.
