Bungie, it might help if you had tutorials.
-
2 AntwortenAnyone who knows how to do it immediately goes back to orbit. That strike is way too long.
-
1 AntwortenBecause it’s an unnecessary mechanic in a normal Strike. I’m sure it becomes more useful during a Nightfall, but realistically, how often will you run a Corrupted Nightfall without a pre-existing team. Heck, most players just abandon the Strike when it pops up in the regular Strike playlist. As of right now, it’s the least popular Strike in the playlist, with the lowest participation rate.
-
That means you ignored the tutorial the first time you played the strike
-
-
4 AntwortenBecause it’s only necessary in high-level nightfalls. I’m not going to waste time throwing them at people who aren’t looking….are strafing so much they are difficult targeted to hit…or can’t hit the target themselves.
-
1 AntwortenBecause outside of Nightfalls you don't need to. Or to my Annoyance a stupid teammate throws it to me while I'm trying to clear out adds and I don't want the damn ball.
-
4 AntwortenTutorials would be good. The only reason I know about charging the orb is via the forum, not the game. If there were tutorials when I first done the strike, I was probably too busy trying not to die. Was it text or was there also audio, such as ghost speaking? This game is perfect at being vague or doesn't explain things at all. Fine for the those with many hours racked up with experience but I can only imagine what its like for new lights these days.
-
2 AntwortenI can’t believe people are still complaining about this. You don’t have to even charge the ball, just pick it up yourself and throw…. it only takes one.
-
1 Antworten3 years later, people still think you need to charge the balls in dreaming city strike.
-
Bungie, it might help if you had tutorials.
I do... However, there's no point anymore. Kill adds. Throw balls. Kill. Repeat. Unfortunately some people see these balls and throw them at a lone psion. Then there's the people that make it their mission to pass on the ball to charge it. This happens all too often. Because I swear they throw it at me when I'm shooting all the taken psions so I insta throw it.
-
This is a perfect example of why raids and master/gm nightfalls shouldnt have match making; could you imagine trying to do oracles on vog or beat the sanctified mind with people who don’t even know how to pass a ball 😂😂
-
Just 1 phase Sedia https://youtu.be/vwnmNN3YVfI
-
I leave immediately, don't even try it anymore
-
True. I’d rather get ran over by a tank than play that strike ever again.
-
1 AntwortenWhy are we still playing the same strikes 3 years later?
-
1 AntwortenBearbeitet von GalaxySpider: 6/23/2021 2:54:36 AMThe game tells you this on a brand new account afaik via a tutorial banner at the bottom of the screen. When you pick up them up for the very first time.
-
1 AntwortenAnd then people complain about the tutorials. There should be a section of the strike that forces players to throw a charged orb to open a door. Maybe even at the very start. Have the yellow bar centurion drop an orb, and you have to throw it to an ally to charge it, then throw it at the barrier to proceed. The fact you can go through the entire strike without charging the orbs is a sign of poor design in an otherwise amazing activity
-
1 AntwortenI literally quit every time I get that strike. I ain’t spending 14 minutes doing what should be like 8.
-
Remember when the Omnigul strike was randomly chosen in D1 strike playlists? People would immediately leave lol
-
fyi you don’t need to charge them anymore, I’ve gotten it multiple times recently and checked
-
1 AntwortenIt’s been 3 years since Forsaken? Jesus.
-
I get to the elevator, I grab an orb, throw it at another player- if he drops it to start a pile or holds onto it to throw it and break the shields then I know we'll be ok. I've picked up an orb, tossed it at a teammate who then throws it off the elevator. Then he and the other dude start shooting at the shielded enemies. This is when it's likely I return to orbit.
-
This is funny as hell to watch. That’s why when that one comes up, I bounce.
-
3 AntwortenNot likely to happen. 1. It would require effort on Bungies part. 2. They don't explain anything so that youtubers and streamers have something to make videos on, cause god forbid anything should be explained in game. "Making content is hard."
-
Don't need charging...
-
Lmfao the yeet balls in that strike? Those things charge?
