Dismantling masterworked exotic weapons for ascendant shards
Hey guys, I'm a bit confused. As the title suggests, does dismantling a masterworked exotic weapon give ascendant shards? If not , what are some good places for them? I play solo so there really is no way to get them from Master nightfalls, and the gunsmith price is just straight up ridiculous. Thanks.

You don’t get ascendant shards for dismantling masterworked exotic weapons. I’m primarily a solo player and at the start of every season I get one from Gambit, and the three from the season pass. Other than that, play lots of 1280 nightfalls for prisms and then turn them into the gunsmith. I have hundreds of masterwork cores that I turn in for prisms then prisms for shards. You can get 12 enhancement cores a day if you do the gunsmiths bounties. Those add up quickly and can be used to buy prisms then shards with. Hope this helps!

1 AntwortenMasterworked exotic weapons don't give Ascendant Shards. The only easy ways to get them as a solo player are from the first Valor and Infamy resets of the season and farming Enhancement Prisms from Legend Nightfalls to buy Ascendant Shards. I would honestly suggest using the LFG app to find groups for Master or Grandmaster Nightfalls.
