I only play D1 now, met some awesome people and we are getting a raid team organised, looking forward to doing the raids again [i](kings fall in particular since it's my favourite)[/i] very glad I quit D2 when I did! :)

That’s awesome! I’m glad that people never stopped doing raids! I joined in RoI right before D2 so i never got to complete any D1 raid

The D1 Raids are awesome, if you get the right team of friends together it can be the most fun you'll have in Destiny. There's plenty of people who go to the Tower/Vestian outpost/Iron temple that then invite randoms to raid. That's actually how my dad initially met one of the raid members [i](he got invited to raid with them)[/i] after I played with them and attempted to do kings fall on easy [i](had a low level on the team + it'd been 5 years since I'd done it.)[/i] with a few randoms - the discussion to make our own raid group came up, the randoms weren't exactly nice so we want to avoid anymore experiences like that. If you're having trouble finding people to raid with you can add me and if you'd like I can send you a link to a discord server, there's people raiding, doing nightfalls and other hard activities. Not too late to start raiding Pumpkin - get out there and kick some alien butt!

I've met up with people from discord and none of us used a mic, it was only for a nightfall and a guy I helped find some calcified fragments though. If you feel comfortable with it, the bare minimum would be to at least call out - for example: "Oracle top right" no need to talk to any extent, a few words here and there will make a huge difference and help your team complete the raid. I completely get not wanting to use a mic btw, I've had people I'd met for the first time online direct very inappropriate and vile comments at me, so I always get a bit nervous when going to talk with new people. You will come across those who are going to be a**holes and the best thing to do in those situations is to just leave and report if necessary/possible. Let me know if you want to play together some time and if you want that discord link. :)

I would love to play sometime! I only have time to play over the weekends (because life) But other then that i would love to play sometime! Also I don’t know about discord but I’ll think about it

Sure! I'm on Ps4, send me a friend request and we can do something sometime. :) The Raid team may be full though, we've got 5 members locked in with a possible 6th, haven't done any raids with the full crew since a few people aren't quite ready yet but in the mean time we can chill - maybe do crota on easy for fun if you'd like. Or try to hit 400 light level if you haven't already, I'm at 399 right now, just got primary, chest and artifact left.

I remember back when D1 was on ps3 my rng was bad and I was stuck at 334 bc I couldn't get that 335 artifact to drop lol

I know your pain, from memory I usually have bad rng on raids, people would be getting some sweet as loot and I'd be left with scraps or nothing! - I got stuck multiple times on different pieces of gear since it just wouldn't give it to me, I got really lucky on the last gear I needed though. [spoiler]Got a blue 400 artifact from a skeleton chest on a 320 strike (I chose 320 to make it quicker to solo) Then Dead Orbit gave me the 400 chest piece and primary on the same day! I kept the primary since I think it's a god roll. - Keystone 01(scout rifle) Triple Tap Explosive rounds Firefly - I think before ROI I didn't care too much about light level, just got it up high enough so I could do Kings Fall on heroic lol[/spoiler] If you're struggling with getting to 400 a thing that really helped me was farming the 320 light "[i]The Iron Tomb[/i]" story mission, make sure you have plenty of 3oC: pop one - kill the first boss, pop another - kill a second boss, then die, rinse and repeat. I got 7 exotics from 48 3oC, may not seem like a lot but farming the bosses is very quick and easy. It sure beats solo-ing nightfalls!

Yeah, I got No land beyond and last word my two favorite PvP weapons back when I was on ps3

I love the last word, I only used it in pvp [i](mainly Rumble)[/i] and had a blast with it. No land beyond I haven't used, not sure if I even have it tbh. Actually while on the subject of pvp do you know which modes are the most active? I've tried getting into a match a couple of times but haven't had any luck. :/

Always go to the modes that are on the weekly rotation everything else is never active matchmaking takes awhile but its worth it and still active just be patient lol

Thanks, guess I'll leave it matchmake while I'm making myself a cup of tea, maybe take the dogs outside too lol Good to know it's still active, got some pvp quests left to do and a couple I've already done since they decided to reset themselves after 5 years, was worried they'd just sit there gathering dust. 👍

Lol matchmaking times only take 5-6 min at most from what I've seen

Also NLB is broken in PVP if you learn to snipe and control the recoil, the iron sights are amazing and it has good aim assist

It sucks that LFG got cancelled but the best bet we've got is to use a third party app like Discord, I can send you a link if you'd like. Good on you for trying though, I hope more guardians see this post. :)
