1 AntwortenHard to tell without knowing what you do. If you wanna chase clout you’d be better off trying out a more popular game to build your platform on. You can also build a community by being interactive in other chats, raiding other streamers you know (if you’re on twitch) and all that can generate interest in you without the need to advertise yourself outwardly. A twitch partner I know built his entire community from doing just that, and without even having subgoals. If you’re just after things to do while you’re playing games, just be interactive with chat without forcing too much conversation. If you find yourself tilting a lot it’s better to try and find ways to laugh off those moments or make them a point of humour. Also adding a highlights channel to upload content to youtube on never hurts.

I suppose the question is ‘what content are you making, that potential viewers aren’t getting somewhere else?’ Why should someone tune into your stream, instead of someone else’s? Do you just play one game? Do you play a variety of games? How mainstream, or niche are those games? Do you have a gimmick, or strong ( likeable ) personality, that helps you engage with your audience? Or do you just play games like you would if no one was watching you?

Play a popular video game. People like watching people playing video games, (which I honestly don't understand, unless it is telling you tips and tricks, but go play first yourself instead of watching people!) especially if they are good at the game. Not like a PvP god or pve lord but at least decent at the game.
uwu
Have you considered kayaking?

Have you considered making a shadow clone to stream for you full time?

7 AntwortenWell, if you go to the doctor with a kidney stone, sometimes they will give you medication that opens up your urethra and gives you a better stream.

Drink more water, It'll help you to stream a lot more. (*≧▽≦)ノシ))

Play how you normally would play with friends, treat the audience like a group chat and interact with them. If it’s dry, talk about the game and whats going on or what you’re doing in it. If all else fails or you don’t feel like playing, tell crazy stories from your life experiences.

Bearbeitet von High Charity: 6/12/2021 4:18:27 PMBe personable and don't play the current hottest game because most people are going to go their favorite streamer first before you. Find one you like but doesn't have too much competition for views to steadily grow an audience. Once you have a consistent base established, the games you play matter less and less and your personality is what carries the stream. The trick is getting that consistent base

2 AntwortenTake what I say with a grain of salt, because I don’t watch streamers, but on the off chance I do watch someone playing a game, I want to hear them talking about the game. Why they like this or that, why X is their favorite character, their favorite bits of game design, etc. I want to hear you talk about the game you’re presumably passionate about. Though that should go without saying don’t go dropping spoilers. As for whether that applies to the general public, no idea.

1 AntwortenI understand what you're going through with streaming. I made this realization recently with stand up comedy and streaming are similar in terms of starting. Standup comedians have to play anything with little to no people watching their set and with streaming when you start you are broadcasting to next to no one. We all gotta start somewhere. Just stay authentic. Be yourself, engage with anyone who comes in your chat and continue streaming and doing what you like. Anyone willing to subscribe is a gem itself so just appreciate what you have instead of what you don't have is key. One marketing direction that's important for growth is spreading out your content to other platforms, Youtube, Instagram, Tik Tok etc. Just have fun with it.

What’s the purpose? The end goal? Do you simply want to engage with people socially while you play games - or are you trying to gain a source of income? If it’s the latter, I’m afraid this market has been getting over saturated with “supply” and isn’t a realistic goal for most people.

Commit popular stuff, but not so popular its cringe to some. For example, Skyrim, its a popular game, but not over the top like fortnite would be. Then just stay active and wait.

When no one is engaging, just talk to yourself like, no one listening. Talk to the characters like those people in horror movies that shout "Don't go in there!" to the screen. Don't be afraid to be foolish and channel your inner parent that loves embarrassing their kids by embarrassing themselves. And have fun with it. People are attracted to passion. Your first priority should be the game and/or entertaining the current audience in the moment, not the streaming itself (if that makes sense). Also, when people do engage, call them out by (user)name. It'll make them feel special and make recognizing them easier in the future, creating a sense of community. Beyond that, patience, patience, patience.

Brand management Chat interactivity. Mainly you just have to have fun with it and stream consistently. Learn to keep those 6 coming back and your stream will grow naturally, but it will take a long time. Theres a heap of information out there to help you.
