Do Not Pre-Order Witch Queen (Future Statement)
Just a public announcement to make sure Bungie doesn't scam us and put 25% of the content in the $40 expansion and the 75% into another $40+ seasons.
1. Cosmodrome
2. PVP
3. Reused Content we already payed for
As well as to note their bad business practices already.
Be safe with your money and don't buy something you aren't promised to have in a year. (noted by bungie for removing all content after the year you purchased)

3 AntwortenBeen grinding that garbage shattered realm; ugly, boring, frustrating. There is no story so I couldn’t care less about witch queen. Promo looks like Moon maps and new bad guys look like hive. Not giving them my money since I play solo and they hate solo players, except for their money.

3 AntwortenI use Microsoft rewards so I have plenty of points to buy destiny with. 👐🏻 Destiny just isn’t a game that has a lot of time investment. It gets boring if you play too hardcore, but I’m here for the story and art so it is a perfect match for me. 👍👍

I just stopped playing the game all together. Not worth the time and effort you put in to only one item, just to get only one drop that’s complete trash. This is actually becoming the worse loot shooter I’ve ever played, not to mention they are going to complete wrong direction with the way the game works and how things should synergize with each other. If you took different elements from a multitude of other loot shooters and put them in this one, in terms of gear and weapons. It would be a perfect game. But how gear and loot works in general on this game, is just not even worth the effort put in to getting it. Also yes, to the troll gunning for “then why are you in the forums?". I’m here because I’m on the toilet and bored. Plus it’s better to get insight on the state of a game by reading the forums instead of reinstalling the whole thing and checking. Which, sad to say. The game still sucks.

But really we should read and look at reviews once these games and dlc’s have dropped before purchase. Bungie do a great job at sugar coating their releases with epic blockbuster trailers to lure us all in like the recent “splicer” trailer, yet when you actually play the season event “you are left feeling- really is that it”! We get fooled, it’s a marketing ploy. So yeah great piece here, do not pre-order witch queen and if you have Stockholm syndrome - please seek advice.

I love playing Destiny just to have fun, and Bungie killed the fun when they made all of my favorite weapons and armor sets completely obsolete. Can't use them anymore. I've gone back and played D1 and it's significantly better in nearly every way. What the hell happened to Bungie?? :/

3 AntwortenI'm not against preordering perse, I just don't do it. Although I have not purchased last 3 seasons and have not missed out on anything major, I feel. Bungies seasons have been underdelivering since season of the Managerie.

1 AntwortenIf you have Xbox, don't bother preordering. Just buy the Game Pass and get the DLC's for free. For people on other platforms, wait a bit, maybe a week or two and see the reviews for the DLC before deciding to purchase. I love Bungie and all, but Shadowkeep and Beyond Light killed a lot of hope for me that the game would be top tier after the split from Activision, and I don't want to support their game if this is where they're going with it.

I’ll still prolly end up getting it because there are enjoyable parts of the game and story, but yeah, they should either be putting more effort into expansions, or they can not make them cost 40 dollars, or even make it cost 40 dollars with all seasonal content being free, cuz 40 dollars for beyond light was def a ripoff, and witch queen seems to be heading in the same direction. If forsaken was 40 (which was already a bit overpriced), this shit should be 20-25 dollars max, how are you gonna tell me 1 strike, 1 destination, 1 raid (probably the best part of the dlc, now practically irrelevant), no new pvp or gambit maps, only 3 exo challenges (they are ok) (there were 6 ascendant challenges in forsaken though), 3 empire hunts (these are alright as well, but nothin new since we had nightmare hunts a year before), the story was very mediocre, and a new element subclass set, which was the selling point of the dlc. Only 3 of the activities are really relevant now. I don’t care if people are gonna say “well I got 200 hours out of it so 70$ is worth it”, or “if yo-yo don’t like it don’t play it”. That’s literally just grooming this company to keep putting in minimal effort, and you are just oblivious to the fact you are getting robbed because you are settling for far less. A bouncy ball is 20 dollars, you buy it, and say you are content with the purchase because you can bounce the ball and not get bored after an hour, but you should damn well know that the ball should have been only 5 dollars. You are all really just settling for mediocrity here, even though we should be getting more for what we pay. If you can spend this much and be content with mediocrity, then good for you, wish I could be like that. I want my moneys worth of content, not “replay-ability” justification for bungie’s scummy decision of making overpriced dlc because you lot are ok with spending top dollar to bang your head against a wall for 15 months at a time with little changes and effort.

2 AntwortenEvery game that has been released in the last 5+ years in the looter-shooter genre has had issues. Bungie for all its’s faults, FOMO, and monetization practices is probably the best of the bunch. It’s sad when you look at the industry as a whole. BioWare, People Can Fly, Bethesda-all released bug ridden messes. With Bungie we all know we’re about to be done nasty with no lube with the release of Witch Queen. Those that preorder obviously don’t mind.
