I played the hell out of Destiny 2 for about 6 months during the Season of the Worthy/Hunt and ended up being done with the game temporarily a short while before Beyond Light. I figured I'd wait a while and pick it up cheaper later down the line. Low and behold this week the expansion and 1 season where on sale on Stadia for £28 so I jumped on it. I've been really enjoying the beyond light campaign and thought that Scout Rifle I'd seen people playing with looked cool so I bought the weapon ornament with the remainder of my bright dust and collected the data pad from the Arms Dealer strike. I return to Zavala ready to do some good old fashioned Destiny puzzling and then I'm hit with the prompt 'Requires Season 13'. When clicked I'm given a Google Play prompt to pay an additional £60 for the Beyond Light Deluxe edition. Surely this is a mistake? Surely Bungie wouldn't do this intentionally. In gonna give the benefit of the doubt and say this is an issue exclusive to the very specific sale purchase I made. However I'm bummed that I can't get a weapon I was excited about and am now trepidatious to continue playing, since I'll never know when a massive pay wall with reappear. I'm all ears if you guys know a work around but honestly this is going out directly to the Bungie support team, who for some reason I can't seem to contact directly. Thanks in advance guys.
