It's annoying how many players are so lost on how financially well-off Bungie is actually doing that they can afford to build a new office.

Then there is the 300 million just from Eververse that is in both D1 and D2 back in 2019. I wonder what it is up to now that it's 2021 and no Activision with Bungie pushing Eververse harder than they ever have before.

Then there is their actual store that makes a healthy income

So with all this income the only effort being put into this game is these cheap throw-away seasons while promoting Eververse, and bringing D1 content into this game? This is what you Bungie fans call a "AAA gaming company" that they are not adding jack shit to the game but they had no problem removing more than half the game we paid for and they are still removing content?
I just thought of something. When is Dreaming City we paid for being removed?

Bungie need to release content that is amazing and stuff the players keep asking for and not keep listening to YouTubers and twitch players cause Bungie count on them to do free advertising so this what we get because of the youtubers who create content to talk about destiny 2. The free to play is just a way to get new players. New players will at least spend once to buy a season and Comestic items

Dude, the new office was to have a facility to operate in during COVID. It also really isn’t that expensive, and the 300m they earned in 2019 was their most profitable year, and compared to its peers that is a pathetically small amount of money. Bungie really isn’t doing that well.

That was when evervese wasnt just Jack full of stuff now it gets an update every season and that's not including the events items they sell. You also have their online store for real items. They charge you for every dlc and season that they come out with. Now let's tack on the fact of transmog being added to the game with a ridiculous grind and that's limited so you'll go spend more money in their cash shop. Bungie isnt in need of money they are greedy for more of it. It's nothing more than minimum effort and maximum profit to them.

Furthermore, of that 300m in 2019, Bungie have about 2000 employees, each earning 50k or more a year. On staff alone thats 125k. Then you have cost of server maintenance, sever hosting fees, renewing your copyrights, updating your infrastructure, etc, etc, easily eating another 100m. The end figure is a number well below 100m. Which compared to every other AAA developer, abs the vast majority of businesses, that profit margin is pathetic.

Cost of server maintenance? What servers? What maintenance? Look at launch day for just season of the splicer. And again your pulling numbers that they reported for when eververse was first a thing. Your not taking in the amount of money they are pulling for dlcs, seasons and season passes, near 3and purchase of season levels, how they nerfed brightdust amount and made a lot of things Silver only now they added transmog with limits the grindy "free" way just so you would spend more money in their store. News flash kiddo your facts are outdated and Bungie is just taking you for a ride might as well call them bungvision or bEAgie at this point.

[i]Kiddo.[/i] It was the company wide earnings report, it was every single dollar Bungie earned in 2019. Are you trying to claim the eververse was “first a thing” in 2019? Dude? It’s been around for nearly 8 years xD Also, you’re confusing servers with dedicated servers. They have to host their game on their end, even with a peer to peer system. If Destiny wasnt hosted somewhere, you wouldn’t be able to play it at all. Hosting a server large enough for a game like destiny, on multiple platforms btw, is extremely expensive. Not only just to rent it, but for the staff to maintain it.

I hate when people say “hey, it’s a Business”. Like there aren’t other businesses out here who respect their customers. But we’re in a Unique situation where these customers used to getting played and kill anyone trying to stand up for them.

I hear you, it's just some players trying to shut whatever down hoping some will feel sorry for Bungie. There are certain games I like but I soon;t go out of my way to defend any company when they are doing the player base wrong no matter how much I like the game or company. Bungie has been at this for 14 years that there is no excuse for this game to be where it is now.

All I know for what we are paying for we're not getting as much content as we were when Activision was around, nor are we getting decent content like EP, Menagerie, etc... They have the resources.
