Recovs are really bad this weekend.
All but 1 game I had to face at least 1 person doing a Recov. Like can we start addressing it and actually enforcing the TOS and ban people for it because it's getting really bad now. (I feel for you PC btw too with the rampant cheating this weekend, I'm sure there's plenty of Cheating Recovs on there rn.)

Bungie openly streamed with a content creator doing a recv at the same time I pretty sure bungie doenst give a f about recv. My advise stop playing the game mode let the sweats beat eachother out. And this will be the most clear signal you can send to bungie

4 AntwortenJust look at Bungie's own LFG "Find Fireteam" section of this site. It's absolutely hilarious and depressing how many recov throwaway accounts and advertising posts plague this site, and Bungie does nothing about it. It's "against their rules" but literally nobody cares and the money keeps flowing.

3 AntwortenTbh i have no issues with recovs. Its cbmm in the playlists that matter. So no matter what account they are on youd be playing them. You sjould be prepared to go against whoever your matched with. Tldr. Get good.

6 AntwortenSimple, alot of recovs could be cut down if Bungie simply had an ip block if your account is accessed in a different region.

Bearbeitet von jonpall: 4/26/2021 2:44:02 PMIm divided on the issue of recovs. On one hand, if you are losing to people playing on recovs you would lose arguably even harder to them if they were playing on their mains. Complaining about recovs doesn't let you escape facing good players, whether they are on other peoples accounts or their own accounts it doesn't matter you would lose anyway if they are better. But the thing is, the people who do recovs would not be playing NEARLY as much if they had to play on their main accounts. The recov grinders do 40-50+ flawless cards every single weekend, they would absolutey not be playing that much on their mains and they probably wouldn't play at all for that matter. It skews the population of the playlist when the same god squads are playing trials for hundreds of cards per weekend, just on different accounts. I think the game would definitely be better off if they were removed but you can not take away recovs if you don't also take away the reason they exist, which is trials being so unplayable for the casual player that they feel the need to pay someone to play the game for them.

Right now, 3 out of the 4 leading streams are recovs. Not sure Bungie cares.

This game rewards that kind of garbage. Hard to really punish but doesn't help when you make it easy to do in the first place.

As long as the content is impossible to complete for the majority of the playerbase Recovs and Carries are going to exist. When this was an issue in D1 with Raids Bungie adjusted the Raids to make it less necessary. In the case of Trials the damage is done and the game mode itself is going to need to be shelved.

They’re bad every weekend. To me this is the biggest issue facing trials right now. Something really needs to be done. It’s completely blatant and noone seems to care. If you pay these degens weekend to go flawless you should be banned. Plain and simple.

At this point Trials is just a waist of time. The small percentage of players/recov services have just ruined it for the majority. On xbox this week it the percentage of flawless acounds is around 6%. I would bet that 2% of that that 6% is recoverys. Bungie is not ever going to do anything about it. If people would also learn to get good and stop paying someone to get them digital loot that really doesnt mean anything in the real world, this would not be an issue.

22 AntwortenNothing will ever change. As I explained in another post, Luke used recoveries during WoW. Bungie ignores recoveries because they are perceived as a valid strategy to win. Streamers have been openly broadcasting recoveries since D1. Visit Twitch right now, and you will find plenty of them. If anything was going to be done about recoveries, it would have happened years ago.

10 AntwortenPeople literaly admit to recovs and nothing happens, all over twitch most pvp'rs play on different accounts constantly, I've had players come to my friend stream while they have recovers on their accounts cheating saying "oh its xxxx playing on my account he's just realy good", I agree that enforcing ToS regarding to account sharing would be a sure way of reducing the problem, however the rampant cheating is the real issue, i've seen faster than fastfire autoriffles, infinite abilities, idiots with 100% accuracy on their snipers over 50 matches, just this weekend, not to mention the noclips and respawns that eventualy get detected. While bungie did improve their anti-cheat it clearly wasn't enough, I can't say for sure but having console players experiencing this nightmare will definitly hurt the franchise even more, diluting the population is not a solution to a real big problem. (plus i miss making friends in trials instead of enemies)

2 AntwortenBearbeitet von icy: 4/25/2021 7:59:55 PMlooking at your stats you haven’t been much of a trials player at all. you have a .8 kd and your teammates have never been flawless and have .3 kds. recovs aren’t your issue here. it doesn’t matter if you play a recov. if they’re cheating ok fine but if they’re a legit player doing one you’re going to lose because of your entire teams skill level.
